too bad we will never ever see a yao + tmac + role players (including the ultimate roleplayer mr no-stats-all-star) together on the same team again.

it was awesome while it lasted though, however long that may have been.

the answer to ur question has already been answered by our current history.

which is a pretty depressing answer to say the least. :(

yao + tmac, you will be missed.

revisonist history aside, IMAGINE WHAT WE'D HAVE DONE WITHOUT THE JAZZ BEING IN OUR WAY JUST AS WHEN IT SEEMED ALL POSSIBLE!

Last year with a healthy McGrady/Yao/Artest absolutely. This year all the contenders beefed-up. The minor tweaks we could have used with Yao/Artest/McGrady coming into this year (like adding a Nash) are now irrelevant due to all the injuries.

Can we win next year with the current roster? McGrady & Scola returning and a healthy Yao? Depends on how good Brooks can get. But I doubt it.

I have the faith that we can win a championship, but unfortunately it doesn't look like this is the year. Everyone else beefing up while we lose beef, hate to say it but true. Next year though is a whole new story with free agency as you never know what could happen. Fortunately though, our future looks very well, with all the talented, young, and athletic players we have. Not to mention, the heart and determination that no other team has. Keep your fingers crossed, who knows what will happen. :)

Definately, with a full compliment of healthy players we are a legit contender.

With both Yao and Mac completely healthy I still think we can win a championship. Too bad that is never gonna happen. Yao is out for the year and TMac is more than likely gone after this year. Plus with these two players injury history one is due to always be injured

Okay,if this is just imagination or like 2K9 games, yep with our current roster plus Yao and T-mac healthy throughout the season,we're definitely a legit contender in the league.Championship is not unreachable, just keep fighting then anything will be achieved.

But let's face the reality,Yao's out for the season and T-Mac still works out with Tim Grover in Chicago,no timetable for the return has been decided.Mid season comeback would be the best scenario for the team.

Yao + Mac would never ever get a break to play together to contend for a ring. When next season's over, they're apart I guess.

No. Yao and Mac are too soft and injury prone.

Our roster includes people with the names of Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady. So yeah...we have a chance if they could play. He said CAN not WILL WE...

Too injury prone. Our current lineup can't last 82 games.

    Spot on.

But I think besides T-mac and Yao,other Rockets are just doing well and not that injury prone.Shane's a exception,he just had bad lucks last season.

    quoted for truth.

I firmly believe we would have won one last year had we been luck enough to avoid injuries to Yao Tmac and Deke. Heck even just having Yao and Deke in the whole playoffs would have propelled us to the finals imho.

We could have beat LA. I firmly believe that. I also think we had the manpower to beat Denver. Plus we matched up favorably against the Magic.

So yeah, with this group I believe we have the pieces, just need the health.

Of course it is Yes but since Yao wont play this year and T-Mac will either be gone this season or next than it will never happen

Really, it was awesome?? We won a total of 1 playoff series.

Frankly, I'm glad it's over. Last year was the last chance this team had at winning a championship with it's current core. It was fun watching them battle the lakers, but it didn't happen. Time to move on.
