I know that he has a BAD contract but he did put up decent stats as a sixth man last year. If we get Juwan Howard, we will have too many FINESSE PFs and may be better off trading one of them.

No one will take Spoon so maybe Mo T is our best trade bait? There are alot of teams that lack a post presence that we can send him to.

Yea that's one player in the Rox's lineup that i would want to trade. Mo lack fundamental and too single minded. He lacks awareness on the court and forcing shot even being doubled and failed to pass out or see the court well or lack anticipation or 2nd option strategy in his game is what iam saying.

I would trade him in exchange for someone like Cato.

Spoon's a much more tradeable asset than Mo because his contract is shorter.

The only realistic way we can trade Taylor is if it's for multiple players with longer deals that teams are looking to get rid of. Guys like Aaron McKie and Greg Buckner in Philly.

We'd be better off just keeping him. Are Mo and Juwan friends like Mo and Webber are?

    Sure.

For another bad contract in return.

Just like Mooch for Spoon, though at least Spoon isn't completely useless.

Didn't Seattle want him at one time? Aren't they souring on Lewis a bit. What would something like that take to get done?

His contract is not so bad...it is on the edge of being bad, but PF that can shoot are a rarity...

I would bet we could pry Rashard from Seattle with Mo and a pick.

If the Sonics start shopping Rashard, they'll get better offers and they know it.

Taylor and a 1st rounder wouldn't be a bad trade from either team's perspective, since Radmanovic is developing quite nicely. But the Sonics know they can do better.

Fairly Atheletic up and down fast tempo team!. Also it's a team loaded with long range bombers!

    thanks for the response guys!

as for his value, there should be "some" teams willing to take him despite his bad contract. in my eyes, he just doesnt fit on our team well especially now with Juwan Howard.

We need a PF that rebounds well, plays tough D and is physical. Mo is none of those.

Mo seems to be a good guy and someone that i will always root for. I would love to see him on a team like the Heat where he will start and be their primary POST scorer.

Perhaps Mo for Brian Grant? both have bad contracts but Grant fits our team better.

I would even love to take Antonio Davis from Toronto for Mo. ADs contract is rechid but his toughness will help us immediatley

I just can't see us getting rid of JJ for some reason.

I bet we could probably get Lewis with Mo, a pick and the TE for one of their bad contracts (back up center, maybe - 2 birds with one stone) .

JVG, loves JJ. i see you're point!.Instead of Ollie the Rox should persue Jeff McInnis! his about 6'4 , fairly Atheletic has a good basketball brain and has some skills!

With the Cavs, he was putting up 11 points and 7.5 assists a game!. i rather have him then Ollie, but thats just me.

guys, stop dreaming a Taylor for Rashard trade. It won't happen!

the Sonics might want Taylor if we take back one of their centers. I think a Taylor for Booth + A. Daniels deal is fair for both teams and more realistic. trading bad contracts (both Mo & Booth have 3yr left in their contracts) to each other but fill the needs for both party. they got a PF who can post up and score inside and let Rashard back to his nature position SF. we got a back up 5 in Booth who's an excellent shot blocker (#5 /48min.)
a perfect pg for this team in Daniels

on Spoon, i heard a Van Exel to Houston rumor that involes Spoon. Spoon's in the last year of his $5.5+ million contract, i think any team that wants to dump some big contacts would be interested. if Lue's gonna to opt out his contact after the trade, then I think we can make it a 3 way deal that re-route Lue + Spoon + Pike to GS for Van Exel. it makes a lot of sense because Lue'd be a FA this summer, Spoon will last one more season only, so they actually trade NVE for Pike's $2.2mil. contract. i'd love to have Nick the quick to team up with Yao & T-Mac. T-Mac is an excellent talant but not a leader, Van Exel could provide the much needed vet. leadership.

sign a defensive minded energy guy like Wizards' FA Etan Thomas we got a team.

    Yao Ming, Booth
    Thomas, Howard, Padgett
    Jackson, Nachbar
    McGrady, Griffin
    Van Exel, Daniels, Wilks
