Since the AP decided that it can re-vote on "certain awards" now, should we demand a Re-Vote on the 94-95 MVP? I mean Dream proved that he was the better player with his on the field performance and more valuable by winning the title, just a thought.

do you remember that season? Dream was injured for a period and Robinson was putting up insane numbers. yeah, Dream was obviously the better player but that season he was a victim of circumstance and Robinson became his victim in the playoffs. doesn't mean Robinson didn't deserve that award.

but yeah. would be nice if Dream could have that one.

Yep, Robinson was a probably better for 82 games...I'd rather have the better guy for the other 22 games that season though. lol

Oh come on, just having fun with this. Okay lets turn this into a re-hash of how Dream got robbed of the MVP that year.

He didn't get robbed. The MVP is a regular season award.

Dream was hurt most of that season and Robinson and the Spurs had the best record in the West.

What about the other times when the MVP didn't win a championship?

LeBron won it last year, and Kobe won the championship

what about the year Karl Malone or Barkley won it, and MJ beat them both?

What about when Dirk won the MVP?

This is why the MVP award shouldn't be voted on till AFTER the playoffs, in reality your right Tinman, David did deserve the award but Dream exposed Robinson for the fraud he was, in comparison to Dream.

Ha, a re-vote takes place and he probably wins in a landslide. I still think it's the best thing that could have happened to Dream and the Rockets, giving Hakeem that extra incentive to completely dominate anyone that stood in his way, especially Robinson

I loved that the award went to Robinson. It was the impetus for a major ass whopping from Dream. Man, those were fun times watching him and those Rocket teams rolling through the playoffs.

I'd rather revote the 92-93 MVP race when they gave it to Barkley of Dream

The mvp in a sense is a team award. Mostly it goes to the best player on the best team during the regular season. Dream couldve won it in 93, but robinson couoldve won it in 94. Shaq should have more than 1 also

David Robinson deserved his MVP. He was the best player in the regular season that year. And he was a top 5 player overall in the league (with Hakeem, Penny, Young Shaq, and the newly returned reformed gambling addict from Chicago). It just makes the ass-whupping that Dream gave him that much better.
