Can We plz get an mvp chant going when tmac is at the freethrow line??? if the main reason nash won the mvp last year cuz he didn't have Amare, the same goes for Mac. Tmac doesnt have Yao. We're supposed to be below .500 by now

    Mac is the MVP

No, he has enough pressure when he goes to the free throw line.

Do it after he hits a jumpshot :)

Just do MVP in the 3rd and 4th quarter especially.

I requested this earlier this year, it's even more deserved now.

Plus, he needs extra motivation to take on the Mavs and bring H-Town the win.

THis would be great if it happened in the final two mintes of the next two game, becasue they're both on National tv and ppl wouold take notice. MVP is all about word of mouf.

T-Mac Does need serious consideration for MVP. No, he doesn't have the best #s, but its the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER. Take Tmac out of the eequation for the Rockets season and we're looking at a top 3 lottery pick. Even if he does not win it, he still needs more consideration than he is getting now.

We've been chanting MVP for at least a week.

In fact, we chanted it tonight just before TMac's first free throw attempt ...and he missed BOTH freethrows. :(

Generally, we try NOT to chant during freethrows because it seems like it really negatively affects them. But somebody started it tonight and joined in ...until he missed both shots.

I thought I heard an Artest Sucks chant tonight. MVP would have been much cooler.

We did start up the MVP chant a few times last night, most notably after TMac went nuts in the 4th quarter.

yeah the mvp chant is great, but i'm not a fan of chanting anything when someone on your team is on the line. i thought the purpose of chanting was to distract them. save the mvp chants for right after a big play forcing a timeout, or just start it up during an important run, but not in the dead silence of a free throw.

i remember when we used to chant mvp for olajuwon...it was always at the freethrow line...has pretty much been a tradition for most teams where they chant at the free throw line.

i remember when dream was asked how that affected him on the line, he responded by saying it made him want to make the free throw even more to show them he appreciated the chant.

how about chanting it when he's on the line during a blowout....not when you're trying to hit pressure freethrows

I'm tired of freakin MVP chants this early in the season.

I was a fan when they used to be relegated to the top 2 or 3 candidates in the league, and during the last month of the season and the beginning of the playoffs until the award was announced (and the rest of the playoffs for the winner).

I just don't like hearing the chants so early in the season for Arenas, Kobe, KG, Brand (for last season's work), TMac, Dirk, Nash, Melo, Wade, LBJ, and probably 1/2 of this year's all stars
