I am all for striving for the best lottery pick we can get, tonight not withstanding. [This message has been edited by sir scarvajal (edited March 09, 2000).]
I'd just be happy to see Francis leave Stockton gasping for air like how Hakeem was a few games back. Oh yeah, and for Shandon to get that glint in his eye, or possibly even talk a little trash. Now that would be excellent.
I hear ya brother Crisco! And HEY -anyone who would rather have us move up in the lottery as opposed to kickin the jazz' collective asses , GET (expletive) REAL, this is Karla(assault and battery)Malone and Johnny(oops) Flopton!!!! Have some Pride!!!! [This message has been edited by Houston Rocks (edited March 09, 2000).]
This is always one of my favorite games, even thought they've been clubbing us for the past few years. Think hoiw sweet it will be when we break thourgh for the first win with the new crew ? : )
I predict we start slow, then Francis jump starts a nice run to get it close. When it looks like we just might pull off another upset, Cuttino will come in. The real question is, will this be a good day for Mobley or another Cuttino-no? GO ROX!!!! ------------------ Nostalgia just isn't what it used to be.
My opinion is that if Shandon has a great game , Rocks will win.(ala that other post around here somewhere) Lets hope SA is eatin some wheaties right now.
See, I don't think Shandon is the question mark. He's my fav Rocket right now. He's consistently solid, and is a smart player. He WILL have a good game, because he takes care of the ball and knows how to play D, and will do the little things to help us win. ------------------ Nostalgia just isn't what it used to be.
With Rudy as the coach for his famous defense on pick'n'roll, Rockets will not beat Jazz for another two years! As a matter fact, Rudy has never beaten Jazz, it was Hakeem who did.
