i say leave the team as is for now, continue to work on chemistry and fine tuning the the game of Francis/Anderson/Mobley/Langhi/KT/Rodgers/and Cato. i don't think that this team will do that bad next season and possible stock pile draft picks for next season.

    Forward: KT
    C Rodgers
    Forward: W Williams
    Dan Langhi
    Center: H Olajuwan
    K Cato
    Guard: S Francis
    M Norris
    Guard: S Anderson
    C Mobley
    11th J Collier
    12th M Bullard
    IR P Miller (for hack-a-shaq)

who would be a bad enough team that we could get some decent picks for next year's presumbably deep draft. Clippers/Vancouver/Toronto etc.

Bryce Drew and T Mass for a couple of picks next year. with Hakeem's retirement we could go for Rashard as a FA, and maybe get a few good picks to make up the difference in the post with the loss of Hakeem.

    what do you guys think???....

I would trade them for about 3~4 second
Round Picks over next year and 2002.

    Rocket River
    Remembering Langhi and Mobley
forgetting Turcsan and SUrg Zwigger [whatever]

As would I. With Rudy's knack of finding good second rounders--more impressive than his first rounders really, probably because at that point picking seniors and role players is the smarter move to make--a bunch of second rounders, ala Chicago this past year, in a deep draft, provide a lot of good leverage.

I also wouldnt mind trading the exception for a teams first round pick. But the bad teams dont really need the exception. I think maybe Washington migh tbe a good choice as nobody wants to deal with them and MJ might be willing to part with a draft pick just to get a deal done.

Rashard has signed a three year deal, so we cant really go after him next season.
