I'm just curious.. Is there a possibility that we can trade either MO or Spoon? I think Juwan is untradeable ryt especially now that he is presented to the media. We can afford to keep the 3 of them but that is not pracrical. Do you think guys that we can find a good trading partner again?
TE and MOT to Indy for Jeff Foster an Jamison Brewer!. TE and MOT for Nazir mohamad an Demar Johonson PG:Arroyo/Lue/Gaines SG:T-MAC/Pike/Boki SF:JJ/Boki/Jonson PF:Howard/Spoon C:Yao/Nazir Mohamad
I'd rank them in terms of trade-ability this way. Jowan Howard MT Spoon In any trade situation, we'll probably have to take a bad contract in return. Remember, we got Howard for Cato and Spoon for Mooch, so that's basically two overpaid players for two other overpaid players.
juwan is the most tradeable/valuable player the rox have on their roster if you don't include yao & t-mac. if the rox aren't able to sign/trade a/for a big name player to play point then the above will be the rox big three this season.
Personaly i wanna give Juwan a shot!. I mean Sign a Big Backup for yao in the Skinner Mold and a PG in the Arroyo mold and give this some time to mold and Mesh for this Season!. if it dosent Panout we can Allways chop and here and there, but for now i think the foundation looks pretty Solid to me if we get a couple of other signings!
It seems like the Lakers would be open to a sign and trade of Fisher for one of those three. Even if they get Shaq and Malone back, Mo, Howard, and Spoon would be better than anything they had backing those two up last year.
The only way we can trade Mo or Spoon is to take back a worse player with a worse contract. I'm just going to hope for the best and hope they can gradually get their game up. Howard on the other hand is someone I'd like to see play since I haven't got to watch him much, but I have a gut feeling he won't ever suit up as a Rocket.
Actually, Spoon would be the easiest to move because he has an expiring contract. I wouldn't worry too much about getting equal talent... It's hard to downgrade much in terms of talent when it comes to Spoon. It's effort and determination that make the difference.
