I know we won 2 games, but we did not play good at all. Game 3 was the ugliest game I've ever seen. It was much worse than a defensive college game, considering the game is longer for the NBA.
This team is not exactly playing bad because it wants to. Jazz defense has a lot to do with it. Do not expect Jazz to change anything that they are doing. The only solution left is for Tmac and Yao to become ultra-agressive and take over the game, since it has been proven so far that the role players are inadequate. Time for our Super Stars to start playing like Top 10 players in the league.
i think the Jazz defense has something to do with it, but i also think missing shots and relying too much on contested 3's has more to do with it.
it's the assists and turnovers. when we pass the ball we make shots and we win. The Jazz are making it difficult to pass the ball which is leading to missed shots and turnovers - not to mention the effect the missed shots have when the Jazz are such a good rebounding team. If the boys don't come out and play with hunger and win this one with heart and fight they don't deserve to advance and it is another long offseason.
i find it hard to believe that luther will suck 5 straight games. Come on luther!! JACK UP A 3!! If he even takes half the shots that t-mac takes then we'd be up 3-1 now. JACK THOSE 3PTERS!! CONFIDENCE!!! Man i don't know how deron got into luther's head, but SHOOT THE DAMN BALL. And tracy mcgrady will have to realize he has to play on both ends one of these games. Someone in the rockets needs to just shove his ass to the ground on the practice floor and tell him that he's playing like **** on the defensive end and he's playing like a p***y on the offensive end.
He has to have some old college pictures he has threatened Luther he will release if he shows anything in the series.......
The Rockets are gonna have to come back and hit the Jazz in the mouth tonight. They've been getting pushed around and out hustled all series.
Well, we scored 98 points in game 2, so I would hardly call that a bad game, even though 30 of them came from the FT line. However, I think we just need to get off to a good start. We have been behind at halftime in every game, its time for that to change and put some pressure on the Jazz, instead of forcing ourselves to come from behind.
Our bad play hasn't just been from the beginning of the playoffs. It seems we ended the regular season without being all there as well. Although our record at the end was good, our play wasn't spectacular and we've lacked chemistry for quite some time. Hopefully we start playing better or else we won't be going too far.
If we hustle and protect the ball we'll win. Every time we seemed to get a littel flow going we'd turn it over in Utah. We also were not quick to the ball AT ALL in game 4. I'm expecting that to turn around at home.

As much as I hate to say it....YES they can play crappy again and for the rest of the series. But god I hope not!
