Can they possibly give the ROY to anyone but Francis???

I know Francis has better stats then any other rookie but it seems the media loves Lamar Odom.
Dont get me wrong Odom is going well,but Francis is on fire.

Francis has has better stats then Odom but Odom is on most lists as being favoured for the rookie of the year award.
With Francis playing like a monster over the last few games (Greg Anthonys ankles are still hurting) I dont see how they can give it to Odom unless Francis get REALLY bad (VERY unlikley) or Odom avrages like 20+ ppg from now on (Also unlikley).

Still I wouldnt be surprised.

P.S.Cheak out www.nbatalk.com rookie report.They think Francis might not even be the best PG in the draft! Sure it was written a few days ago but for crying out loud!!!

Normally, I would agree with you, but Odom might get into a hot streak too. So I'm not ready to lock in the award just yet. Francis is the best playerby far, and always will be, but weird things have been known to happen. Take for example when Michael Cage was fighting it out with someone for the rebound title. He got like 40 on the last night of the season. Un-real. And then you have the whole David Robinson scoring title thing. That was a joke too. So anything can happen, including the clippers trying to win that award for Odom over the last month of the season. But, all that put aside, Francis is the ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!!!!

I'll weigh in a prediction: Odom and Francis will get co-rookie of the year awards. The race between them is very close and it is only in the NBA's benefit to hype them both. So they'll split it.
