the rockets are currently tied for 14th all-time in the nba for wins with 15 in a row. if they win against the pacers they will then be tied for 9th.

it would be a very Tall order, but if they won 5 more they would be tied for 2nd.

(not sure about last year, meaning if the mavs had a winning streak that is not in this article)

    keep winning!!!

I think this season the Rockets passed the Knicks in all-time winning percentage:

    Rockets : .504
    Knicks: .502

We still have a ways to go to catch the Lakers: .614

oops my fault didnt see that one. now i remember the suns having theres also.

so if we beat the pacers. then we will be playing the mavs to match theirs from last season. interesting

I still believe that the Rockets could've been 20-0 if Yao didn't sat out the game against Utah. Our winning streak started against the Spurs. I think people forget that.

Honestly, I believe that we have a good chance to beat the Pacers ofcourse. We have done well with not looking past the competition for another game. We have played within a team structure.

On Sunday, they looked a little nervous to start the game against Denver, but they buckled down and eventually acted like they met each other.

I am eagar to see them in action on Wednesday, because we have to win the games we are supposed to win. The game against the Mavs will be a must win for them because they have fallen behind with a loss tonight to the Jazz..They are now a full game back on us...

The Mavs do not play again until we meet on Primetime TV Thursday on TNT! We have an opportunity to go up two games on them if we win Thursday night. Then we will be close to some legendary statistics. That's when we get into trouble....We have got to be thinking about the Indiana Pacers exclusively...We play our game bump preparing for the Mavs, we know them alreay, see them 50 times every year! Stop Jason Terry...Slap the German...Keep a hand in Josh Howard's face...Box out Dampier...Play 4 quarters of basketball...Keep pressure on their defense (AKA Shane/Rafer must score!)

    GO ROCKETS GO!!!!

we'd have to go undefeated for the rest of the season and some into next season to beat the 71' Lakers hahah wouldn't that be nice.. albeit highly unlikely

We stand a reasonable chance even without Yao to go 21 in a row:

    Wed 05 vs Indiana
    Thu 06 @ Dallas
    Sat 08 vs New Orleans
    Mon 10 vs New Jersey
    Wed 12 @ Atlanta
    Fri 14 vs Charlotte

Then the Lakers and Boston comes into town, I'd be happy w/ 1 win outta the 2 there.

But I expect Rockets to come out and play vs. Mavs and at least give them a run for their money, rest of games aren't bad, NOs is solid, but we are at home.

Who knows maybe we will beat Boston and LA and go to 23 in a row :).

If we beat Indiana, Dallas, and New Orleans(tall order), it will be the NBA's longest streak in 8 years.

There's not enough wood in my neighborhood to knock on for you guys keep jinxing it!

One game at a time...I am not scared of NO at home (especially after the way we ran them out of their own place) but first Pacers and then the Mavs...

we won 15 in a row ... why should we approach any game with fear?

would be kewl if fellow Rocket fans took the brave approach. but its understood that the weak hearted will sell doom & gloom.

15 in a row, why not move up?

The Dallas game is the key. If the Rockets can pull that one off, a 21-game winning streak is a definite possibility. The New Orleans home game and Atlanta away game(remember the Rockets lost there last year) aren't gimmes, but they're certainly winnable.
