Can the Mavs finish with the second best record of all time?

    i hate dallas as much as you do, but it think they can finish 69-13

    as long as they dont go 72-10, which is highly unlikely, i will be happy

    they got san antonio once and phx twice....the rest of the schedule they should handle pretty easily. if they rest their players near the end of the season they could lose to cleveland and maybe minnesota....maybe a loss to utah?

    They're hands-down the best team in the league, it's not really even close.

    I doubt they will win 69 games though. But I don't really see many teams challenging them for the championship this season (barring health issues, of course).

    They are 47-5 since their 0-4 start. That is pretty scary. They will probably lose a few games at the end when they will have that first spot secure, though.

    rockets acount for 11 percent of their losses. Next to utah, that's the best.. hope utah slips to 8 or yao is healthy

    Once the Mavs clinch best record they will slip some. They could even slip a couple of times along the way. I want them to win 70 games so when we meet them in the playoffs, the whole world will see them as an overwhelming favorite and give us little chance. The more regular season wins, the more pressure on them in the playoffs and the more stinging a 2nd round defeat would be.
