He had 3 solid games in 3 wins, all against playoff teams. Had 31 ppg, 6.67 apg, 7rpg, and 2 blocks per game. I'm not sure how well other players around the league did though.

Phoenix and Dallas won their games this week as well. But Nowitzki and Stoudemire don't have stats as good as T-Mac's. He'll get it

I think Dirk sat one game out this week, so that should disqualify him right there. T-Mac's team also pounded the hottest team in the NBA over the last 2 months. That should give him the edge.

I am sure he will get it. But we also give Yao some credits.

    T-Mac should get it easily.

Is anyone else, though, DYING for Yao to get a POW award just ONCE? I really would like for his confidence to improve when he gets a recognition like that. T-Mac is simply too used to it, it's nothing strange to him, and I don't think it matters to him at all.

But anyways, these awards are all subjective and don't mean jack, IMHO.

Remind me why we are crediting Yao? Not that he hasn't played well, but he certainly hasn't been one of the best players in the league.
