As much as I feel obligated to hate the Spurs for being a Texas team other than Houston... I don't. The team is filled with classy players (except for maybe Ginobili). That being said, I find it hard to see them going perfect. OKC will win one at least.
No and I don't think any team has ever done it. The Lakers came close one year.....but the Iverson-lead Sixers won 1 game.
If OKC doesnt win tonight...I can see the Spurs being the first team in History to sweep the playoffs(seriously the Heat or celtics dont really stand a chance against the winner of the west...both are playing at a different level...Spurs are just doing it better)...if they do that ...they will be considered one of the best teams in the history of the NBA...
I had Spurs as the dark horse before the playoffs started while everyone was talking about Miami/Chicago/OKC. TBH I had Miami as favorites, then OKC, but Spurs were my sleeper pick. Now everyone's seeing how good this team is. They are a machine.
I root for OKC. But if Spurs is to eliminate OKC eventually I'd rather see a 4:0 and later another 4:0 in the finals. Who doesn't want to be a witness of the greatest playoff team performance of all time.
Same here. Don't really have any hate for Ginobili either. I'm a soccer player. I've learned to accept flopping.
I'm with you for the most part - but Tony Parker classy? We're talking about a guy who cheated on his wife with his own teammate's wife. I wouldn't quite call that classy.
