Can someone remind him how many rings he has? cause apparently he acts like he got 3 or 4.

its funny how people change once they become a commentator.

    p.s. the rockets deserved it.

hahah, very nice observation. and I'm there with you. If you are going to play that badly, you deserve to get your butts handed to you. Question is, can they bounce back after the break, b/c not all is lost. 6 out of the last 8 (unless i'm mistaken) is nothing to cry home about, but we do need more meaningful wins.

It's alright, Mario Elie and the Jet put them in their place, I absolutely LOVED the look on Barkley's face when Mario blew the "Kiss of Death" to him.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! :D :D :D :D :D :D

listening to reggie miller and barkley articulate what it takes to be a champion is utterly ridiculous. that whole crew is a joke.

i would replace JVG with Mario Ellie, because this team does have some talent
[YM T.McG, R.A. Luther, Marcel and Bogansbut need to be motivated bya Coach who has positve desure to win and uplift his players to victory. Coach JVG isnt too bad but belongs in another arena. Coach Ellie wont be as stuborn anf will have his team play a more freelance basket ball.

um. this is the best crew ever, on the scene and behind the scenes. don't take them too seriously, half their job is just to be funny, and they do a damn good job of it. as far as the more serious things, know when to take them seriously. obviously, ringless players talking about what it takes to be a champion, you can probably ignore that. but their basketball knowledge and analysis is usually spot on (at least kenny's) and even insightful at times.

I agree, Mario Elie should be our next coach. He is also tough on his players but I feel players would respect him more than JVG because he has the rings and he actually played basketball.

    i realize they think they're funny. i don't.

and i don't think they add a ton of insight, either. charles barkley's only mission in life is to speak in such a way as to get the most attention possible. hardly insightful.

I have to overlook Kenny confusing metaphors about eating soup with a fork. These guys are entertainment only. No analysis. Fun and laughs. If you want analysis listen to Hubie or Doug Collins.

Barkley may as well be in a clown costume....Bufoon
