what the deal is between Francis and Garnett? Last season, whenever the Rox played the Twolves, sometimes a whistle would blow for a stoppage of play, and if Steve or Cat had the ball they would take a shot, a practice shot of sorts, and Garnett would try to swat it away every time, as if saying this is my basket, no shots get in to this basket, not even practice shots. I also noticed the same thing going on last game, and in one instance the whistle blew well before the shot, but Steve finished his drive anyway, flipped it up, over Garnett's outstretched arm, and into the basket. Then when Steve landed it looked like he was talkin' smack to Garnett, couldn't make out what he was saying, but it sure didn't look friendly. In particular, on a later play, Steve drove, was fouled, the whistle blew, and as Steve landed and stumbled past Garnett, KG took a swipe at Steve (he missed), then Steve faked behind the back like he was going to pound Garnett with the ball. Do they hate each other or what, and why? What's the deal here?

it looks like they're just messing around out there and being competitive. steve was laughing after a couple of those garnett block attempts. it'd surprise me if they had bad blood between them.

I remember reading somewhere that KG is against practice shots, for some reason, I don't know why. You'll ALWAYS see him blocking shots after whistles. Don't know what that's all about.

Maybe if he took a few more practice shots himself he'd make it out of the first round.

    LOL!

But yeah, Garnetts dumb ass does that to everyone. Its just not Steve and Cat. I've seen him do it basically every game we play em, or whenever they are on national television. I think he thinks that its disrespectful to the game or something.

I swear to God I am not making this incident up. During this year's all star game, Garnett had just checked out of the game and was walking towards the bench. A whistle blew against a Western Conference player and Eastern Conference player continued way after the whistle was blown. He kept on going towards the basket, and in the background you could see Garnett just looked on in Horror because he was not able to swipe away the meaningless shot! :D Funniest thing I had seen in a while.

    Garnett is a MORON!

I just wish we had that moron on our team. He could swat at all the practice shots he liked, and I wouldn't mind. Hell, we could probably even chalk it up to his competitive spirit or something.

I loved that beautiful tear drop shot going in over KG's head and Steve talking smack after, that and Steve bouncing off to the locker rooms after the win.....I love it when we have passion out on the court....now you know why we won that game!
