A friend of mine told me the other day that Will Smith has become Muslim after studying Islam while doing Ali. However, he has tried to keep it to himself since Muslims are getting alot of heat these days and partly because it might hurt his big sequel to MIB. However my freind did say that he is planning to come out with it and will also change his name very soon (probably after the summer). Any one else hear about this??
If so, it's pretty damn weak that he's waiting until his movie has released so it doesn't affect sales!! I'm sorry, but that's just sad... God I really believe in you....I think you're the awesome creator of the universe...i pledge my life to your service...but not until after my movie has opened...you understand, right??
based on that link, it all sounds pretty vague and inferential. plus, the date was from 11.01. that makes me think it was more just trying to garner interest in the movie Ali. it will be interesting to see how it plays out, though.
