Can someone check a carfax report on a vehicle for me?

    My girlfriend is looking into buying a car and I was wondering if anyone had a membership or any left over free carfax reports they could lend.

    Or maybe any pointers on which site to go to.

    If I dont find anything we will eventually pay, but was hoping I could find some help online, thanks in advance!

    We have already found the vehicle everything looks good but when I check through carfax it shows 17 reports found, this makes me nervous! (buying privately)

    So, I checked an older car that my mother has had since 02 (purchased new) and it has 22 reports. I know that car hasn't had any issues other than normal maintenance. Is it possible it is only listing things like vehicle registration, inspection, odometer reading when taken to the dealer?
