I really love his game, and it seems he always produces when he gets the playing time. But, does he have the game to back-up Dream at the center? If so, it would make it much easier to trade Cato. What do you think we could get on return for Cato, I know he has a monster salary.

Carlos isn't big enough to cover the five spots in the NBA. If he could stay healthy for an entire season - he never has - he could be a solid bench guy at the four, but he seems destined for the injured list.

Unfortunately, the way he played tonight is not the way he plays every night. Remember, this was only the Cavs, and they were playing without their best center.

Very impressive game for Los, considering the guy coming out of bench, He definitely shows some heart tonite and if he stay healthy , He deserve a descent playing time. Los is the man, Tonite. [IMG]

Los has always been productive, when he is healthy.

The problem with Carlos is that he is injury prone.

I love the way he cuts to the hole when the defender turns his head...SMARTS....

If Los can stay healthy he can help be a Marcus Camby type player for the Rockets, he fits in perfectly with the drive and dish offense.

The thing I love most about Los is that he plays completely within his abilities on offense. Really, we have so few players who are willing to do this on our team.

Certainly we have some very talented guys, but they almost all make some very bad decisions at inopportune times. Los probably makes these mistakes also, but I really can't recall too many in my mind right now. The guy is satisfied to just work off of everyone else, and get offensive rebounds in order to get his points.

I mean, the guy is shooting 70%!!!!

Even in limited minutes, that is impressive (he did it in like 35 shots).

I think Carlos makes a better backup 4 than 5 in the NBA, but on OUR team, I'd much rather see him out there than Cato fumbling away every pass or Dream huffing and puffing. I think that he and Collier would make a good inside/outside combo. Did the Bulls have anything better in the middle when they won 6 rings?
I think Cato needs to be shipped out ASAP. What makes Rodgers and Collier look so much better is they can actually catch the ball and finish around the rim. They have the soft hands and good footwork that Cato lacks.

No one should be supprised at Los. He has always been a productive player in the paint. Usually when he starts showing what he can do he gets hurt.

His big knock is his size. He has the height but he is built just a little better than a been pole. Plus he has small hands. Last year when he was getting a lot of playing time I remember him fumbling more passes than anyone else. He is great at hanging out in the paint getting some offinsive boards and some put backs.

    crash5179,

Yes, no one should be surprised. Remember the game last year right after Carlos' brother's death?

Say I'm gay, but I LOVE this guy VERY MUCH! [IMG]

Los is great. I remember after the Pippen trade and after the first practice everybody talked about Los and his talent. He is due and the coach should go with him. He is quick, can finish, can jump and can play defense. Give him the time. Left to me I would give him time over Cato.

While it is OBVIOUS that 'Los deserves MUCH more playing time, he was going up against an Ilgauskas-less Cavaliers, who has actually had a pretty decent season. I don't doubt that he can play productive minutes at the five, but I wouldn't play him there normally.

One of my favorite things about Carlos is how versatile he is. He can play the 3, 4, or 5, depending on who else is injured. [IMG]
