Barkley has lost his ******* mind if he really thinks this.

Augustin, Bayless, Calderon -- they'd all go bananas against a college team.

AD is way to skinny to dominate Pro ballers.

Charles Barkley said something stupid. That's never happened before.

Kemba Walker was probably the 2nd best player in college last year. Jimmer Fredette was the best. Kemba was always getting to the basket and creating space. Same with Jimmer.

Neither can do any of that in the pros. It's a different level of play.

The pro team wins every time. This reminds me of some poll on ESPN last year that asked if LSU could've beaten the Colts. A college team might have a few players that are special and will go pro, but a pro team is exactly that; A team full of them.

I remember Durant's college season well. He would have been killed if he had to go up against a pro team with only college kids to support him. 14% shooting tops.

Barkley distinctly said the raptors CAN beat them. If you are making an article get your facts straight.

People tend to forget that all the NBA guys have been studs in college that destroyed most of their opponents every night. Most of them were all-stars and got trophies, awards. Guys that couldn't make it in this league were beasting in college and looked like superstars. Now a NBA team has 10+ of these College stars, mixed with veteranship, experience, fulltime balling, individual coaching, superior sets and tactics, etc. Every NBA team would crush the annual best college team, and it wouldn't be funny.

And also the article sucks, if you actually hear him saying it it was meant as a hyperbole. Meaning that Kentucky is so far ahead of other college teams that he's comparing them to nba teams.

It was both a hyperbole for Kentucky and a shot at crap teams like the bobcats. OP needs to check himself.

Did OP hurt your feelings in the past? You sound like you're more angry with him than the thread itself. Relax dude.

It's Charles Barkley... when he says things like this, he usually means it. Like A_3PO said, this isn't the first time he's said something stupid.

As good as Kentucky is they're a college team and they might not even win it all.

Kemba Walker on Uconn last year led them to a title.

As bad as the Bobcats are every single guy on that team is in the NBA. Kentucky will have a number of lottery picks but no way does every guy get in the NBA. Also how many lottery picks are on the Bobcats roster? Just off the top Kemba, Diop, Augustin, Gerald Henderson were lotto picks.
