Last season was an amazing year for harden, I didn't think he could get any better than that. What can he do to get better than this? Is it even possible? We are watching history from this man.
He has help now and another star now to take pressure off him.. it's really impossible to win without another star.
We've been asking the same thing for 3 years now.. he keeps getting better! We just need a fraction of his brilliance in the post season..
He doesn't really play defense. He's improving his turnover rate, but still can improve there. He's at like 40% three point and it's a career high. Bet he has a season even higher than that in the future. He has't played consistently well in the playoffs. It sounds like I'm hating on him, but I'm actually in awe that he is this good and I easily foresee him steadily improving in each of these categories as his career progresses. He adds something every year. Sometimes he takes a step back in some departments (defense), but he bounces back the following year (usually after negative media attention). Will be fun to watch for years to come!
@Asian Sensation said trade him because he has peaked and is broken and he will only go downhill from last year.
He does play defense. He’s just not laterally quick enough to guard a player like Lillard, and plenty of players get caught overplaying from the weak side. It’s like the number one defensive **** up in the NBA
Can greatness get better than greatness? He's one man and just needs the right team to win just like every other great player. Harden is amazing. Enjoy it while it lasts. It won't be forever. Really... enjoy this. I promise that this level of talent doesn't come to your team often.
yeah lets trade him for Klay 1. Russell Westbrook • OKC 1.7 2. Andre Drummond • DET 1.7 3. Paul George • OKC 1.6 4. DeMarcus Cousins • NOP 1.5 5. Jayson Tatum • BOS 1.5 6. Al Horford • BOS 1.5 7. Draymond Green • GSW 1.4 8. Ben Simmons • PHI 1.4 9. Giannis Antetokounmpo • MIL 1.4 10. Jaylen Brown • BOS 1.4 11. Kyrie Irving • BOS 1.4 12. Clint Capela • HOU 1.3 13. Marcus Smart • BOS 1.3 14. James Harden • HOU 1.2 15. Lonzo Ball • LAL 1.2 16. Carmelo Anthony • OKC 1.2 17. Jusuf Nurkic • POR 1.2 18. LaMarcus Aldridge • SAS 1.2 19. Pau Gasol • SAS 1.2 20. Dwight Howard • CHO 1.2
Harden. The way he's been playing. Not just skill wise. But with heart. Between his talent and his crossovers and step backs. He reminds me so much of Allen Iverson in this respect even if his game is uniquely his own. TheSage
I truly believe Gm 6 vs Spurs made Beard more focused and determined. A MVP can work with any players and coaches the same can't be said of last year's MVP.
That's a good question. I don't think he can. If you were to add another good player his value would drop. Paul, a creator to help Harden get more space as well as find him as best anyone ever could, is really the best thing for him.
Offcourse he can. He is only 28(just turned 28) and has shown continues improvement every season so no reason to think he cant. Outside of Durant Harden is the most versatile scorer in the NBA and if you combined his playmaking he maybe the best playmaker/scorer in the NBA and can still get better. Right now he is a top 3 player.
Same garbage people spewed when we got Paul but his numbers have infact increased with Paul instead of declining. You can put Lebron next to him and Harden will still get his 30 plus because of his bball iq.
What's this? Opp ft %? You think that proves James plays defense? Ha. I said nothing about wanting to trade him anyone. The thread is about how James can improve.
