1. Why use so many old old NY players but don't give some more PT to your young players. (I belive even Gino in rockets will never be like he in Spures. Just another Boki maybe)(you coach even don't trust them how can you expect SF, cat and ... to trust them) 2.Your O is sucks, We Know yao and SF, Yao has soft touch for shoot but too soft for get the pass and ....., SF is talent but not a good passer. How to put them together is coach's job maybe you need an O assistent coach. 3. Play more rosters ples, I like 10 players play not just 7 or 8. 4. Don't complain the ref pls. I'm a YOF, NOW I'm a ROF BOOM, GO ROX
Sometimes I look at the games, and I look at the players and I think this team is just such a big mess that needs to be cleaned up. In m heart, I want nothing more than these things to happen: - Get a PF who's well-rounded enough to play 35 minutes. - Give Cato the rest of the backup PF and C minutes. - Get a PG who's safe, efficient and dependeable. - Get a big SF who can hit the 3. - Trade Mobley, let Francis play more minutes at SG, along with minutes at PG. Basically, this is what I want: Yao(35)/Cato(13) Acquired PF(32)/Cato(16)/Spoon(garbage minutes) JJ(18)/Big SF(30)/Boki(garbage minutes) Francis(20)/JJ(20)/Pike(garbage minutes, spot duty) Acquired PG(30)/Francis(18)/2nd round pick(garbage minutes) I really want to see the rest of the players go for more complementary players, split Mobley's shots between Yao and Francis, and let the rest take over. I would absolutel love for those 3 players to be PJ Brown, Matt Harpring, and Tyronne Lue. PJ is a great player to have, a veteran, can nail the midrange J fairly consistently, and he's a very good rebounder. Harpring can nail the 3 and get TONS of garbage points, the type of player that feeds off star players efficiently. Can grab rebounds and play defense too. Tyronne Lue wouldn't play much, probably around 30 minutes, which is what I'd be comfortable giving him at his height. This team is still not built to play withing JVG's system. Right now it's frustrating as hell, and quite frankly, I despise the mediocre-Knicks feel we have at the moment. I just hate it, I feel we're sinking into mediocrity and that JVG will focus on what he wants at the expense of other things that are needed. Hopefully CD and JVG will figure out a way to turn us into a more efficient and better structured team.
This is the only part of the NBA that I hate. The NBA is full of whiners. Just play the game with dignity, and let the fans decide if the call was bad or not. The refs will hear the fans boo and realize that they made a bad call. Steve and Cato are the worst. They contest every single call. I am sure that both JVG and Steve have talked Yao into complaining, because he is starting to complain a lot more. Nothing aggravates me more then to see a grown man whine.
JVG, Francis and Mobley play their own game. They practiced for four years togerther and will nerver be complementary to a Center as the focal point. Please move them on while they are worth something. If you are sentimental for a couple of seasons it will end up costing your job.Team Yao is aware of what is realy going on in the Rockets and if Yao Ming is not supported and developed by a complimentary supporting cast, they would move Yao Ming to another Team. They are the most powerfull influence in the life of Yao Ming for Sports and business concerns.
What the league, officiating crews, players' union, and commissioner need to understand is my friends and I do not pay all that money to watch Yao Ming ****in' sit on the bench because: - officials are afraid to make calls against thug players/coaches - he commits a lazy foul after being mauled continuously on the other end of the court Frankly, Yao Ming (and the Houston coaching staff/team) are being too nice. The Najera's and Madsen's of the league have no business guarding Yao Ming. If the officials do not consistently make the correct calls, then Yao Ming needs to make a statement -- physically. If the league does not want another "Bad Boys II," then they should begin to honestly scrutinize the officiating. [On a partly-related note, I can understand why it would be difficult to give the team (and its players) respect when two of its supposed "veteran" leaders consistently commit dumbass mistakes. The officials, however, need to be able to separate the JV from the legitimate professional players.] University (I's of Texas) Blue
Why if Yao Ming can't score he will be shut out ot the game immediately while others can continue to shoot even if they didn't score any better. If JVG an opportunism? If JVG doesn't have a sound, long-range strategy, Rockets will not have a future. The history will repeat itself.
Cannot agree with you more! I am wondering what kind of game this is. Basketball game? Or WWF?! If the wrestling continues without being punished, I guess next season they will pick a football player to tackle Yao for defense.
