I have my pop-up blockers turned OFF on both my IE and my Google toolbar, yet once in awhile it still blocks and won't allow pop-ups that I want... as in a secondary window.

This is hitting me right where it hurts... working at home. It's making me non-functional in some aspects of working at home and I can't seem to fix it.

    Any ideas?

Press down on the ctrl button while you go to whatever it is you want to see, yo.

That's not getting it done. Our IT is stumped so far. It's a complex, security laden deal so it's probably not that simple.

Oh, okay... Try pressing both ctrl buttons then. Maybe that will like double the strength of the pressure to break through the ad blocker.

Can't you go to some module in whatever program and just manually add it to the list of sites from which pop-ups are allowed?

Already did that. I have tried everything conventional that we can think of. The funny thing is that it was not a problem a few weeks ago and now it is not working.... To my knowledge, I've done nothing different with my setup.

Add site to your Trusted Sites, uninstall Google Toolbar, change registry setting for IE (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/843016).

Is the pop-up click-initiated or on page load?

Is it IE 6 or 7? Our CRM is a PeopleSoft module and had this happen on a few links for IE7 whereas IE 6 had no problems (but the control key did work as a bypass)
