or is he out of shape? If he's still in shape he can probably still school all or most of the centers in the league.

    hahaha.

    While we're at it.

Lets Bring back Ewing and Drexler. They both are already with the team, and so they should be in Houston and ready to play on Wednesday. :p

Hakeem schooled Emeka Okafor in practice so he's still got it. Just not sure if he's got the stamina to run full court. Plus if Deke can still play at his age, the Dream got a chance against all the scrub centers in the league.

I would not be suprised if he averages 20/10. McGrady and Hakeem pickin roll. Unstoppable

Dream could school most Centers 1 on 1, but his body probably won't hold up for more than a month.

Sure, Hakeem can still play... Shuffleboard.

Dream couldn't play his last couple of years in the league -- what makes you think he could play now that he's been retired for a while?

hes more in shape than most 40 yr olds. IMO, but we all know its not gunna happen...

not even jordan would pull a comeback this late.

He was not getting the playing time.
Last 3 years averaging 23 minutes per game.
10 pts per grame. 1.5 blocks and about 7 rebounds
    and shot close to 48%

Dude can still play, damm Francis, Mobley had to ruin it for him. Also Toronto
    gave up on him

Hakeem is in good shape, but no he can not still play at the NBA level. He might be capable of a good game, but he has slowed, and isn't in playing shape.

He was working out with a player of the summer, and was reportedly in good shape. That does not mean he could play.

There was a reason he only averaged 23 minutes....he was injured most of the time.

If they brought Hakeem back on a limited basis they would sell out every game. Including standing room only.

Toronto didn't give up on him, to be fair. He was hurt, then didn't seem to want to play. It's not like people didn't want to give him minutes over some scrubs.

I love Dream, but 20/10? He will consider an insult and slap you guys for suggesting that. Because you guys were implying that he slacked off during his prime, by not putting up 30/20 :D

I'm sure he could play but he's not the same guy we had during the mid 90's, I'm still trying to erase that year in Toronto from my memory.....

I wonder if we could get Gheorghe Muresan and Chuck Nevitt. They could probably be had for cheap. Dang'ol
