I had an interesting debate with a friend of mine today. Under ANY circumstance, would you be cool with your wife/girl getting financial assistance from another MAN...that isn't related to you/her in some way? Thoughts?
I don't even see how this is a question. First of all, when would this issue present itself? Second of all, hell no.

Your question is a bit open. Giving someone money and financial assistance are two different circumstances. If you want to give my girl money, feel free to give away. Just don't expect anything back.
This is a big hell no... Just ask yourself...If you give a girl money...what would your intentions be?
Well, first of all, if she's my wife, WHY is she separately getting financial assistance without my involvement? Second of all, I'm pretty sure Indecent Proposal was just a movie.....so I think the answer would be a resounding NO.
Yes. People in churches often designate finances to help families in need. In that scenario, I say yes. But I don't want to know who it was from... in other words, it had better be anonymous when we / she receives the assistance.
Actually, Mig... We've had it real rough this year. Wife was laid off from her job in January, went back in March, gone again in June, and just was rehired in late October. My income has dropped to 1/5th of what it was. If you'd like to send my wife a check, I'll send you the address. Just be sure it doesn't bounce. If you've got anything else in mind, be sure and ask your boy Moes for that kind of thing.
Can it include walking in the park with her, ending with a warm smile and hug, letting her know it will be alright?
Funny this got asked. One of my exes from a few years back...we were at the Galleria shopping and she pulls out a wad of 100 dollar bills. She was wealthy to begin with, but she usually didnt roll with cash like that. I asked her where she got it from and she said that her ex continues to send her money in the hopes that he gets her back one day. She wasnt ever going to get back with him, but the fact that she accepted the money shows how trashy she was... Game over.
