    I'll try.

*Said he gets his clothes from a store in West Oaks mall on hwy 6.

*The reason Francis didn't seem to get a lot better last season because he had to do it all. Francis shouldn't be the leading rebounder on the team. Francis will get a lot better as soon as Moochie takes control at point. Francis is a natural 2. (Where that puts Cuttino I have no idea.)

*Yao will need to provide and inside presence (no kidding?).

*Too many players today can only dunk or shoot 3's. No middle game.

*Will win the pool tournament this weekend at the Hyatt.

That Moochie comment is scary as hell. Wasn't Murph the one that leaked the Dream to Toronto trade (the first one)? He is either full of it or has a big mouth - or both.

    I still love ya, Murph.

I think he's just saying he expects the three guard lineup to be kept intact or more use of Steve as the backup two when Cat needs a rest.

I just think Murph knows basketball and believes Steve would be better for the team as a 2 instead of the point.

I could agree on some aspects of that comment.

It is clearly not for him to be their full time. I suggested the same thing especially after the way Brown played in the summer and so many people were concerned with our backup 2 situation. I said well play Francis some more at the 2 and ease up some of his pg duties.

I thought that the whole reason we had Francis was because he didn't want to play the 2. Is there any indication that his stance has changed? I understand that he plays there when he and Mooch are on the floor together, but would Francis go for starting there?

    The 3guard lineup SUCKS......arghh

Someone needs to beat Rudy's head in, and tell him that his fabled mismatches aren't so loveable. I can't stand Moochie running the point. When we run 3 guards in the end of the 4th quarter, it's got to be the stupidest thing. Who gets our rebounds? Yeah, Francis does, so no fast breaks. Who has the advantage on mismatches? The other team, because we're playing small ball. It such a dumb idea unless you have a frontcourt that rebounds and can play defense above average to really well. Now running Tierre in 3guard lineup, we would at least be quicker, but it's still stupid.

......and the store gets those pimp suits from New York. His suits are picked out by his 9 daughters, who each try to out do the others.

What about Dallas's success with 3 guards? Get used to it. This team BEGS to run 3 guards because Francis is a shooting guard, not a point guard. And with Griffin, Ming and 3 guards in the 4th quarter of playoff games ... we will win a title some day.

Moochie isn't good enough to be anything but a third string point guard! He might change his ways though and do away with Dribble Mania!!

This from the "small forward is worthless" guy, although opposing small forwards routinely rape the Rockets.

Dallas' success with small ball came to a crashing halt in the playoffs.

Small doses of Mooch/Steve/Cat/Eddie/Ming will be fine, but some size at the 3 would be nice, considering the direction of so many other teams (hence Boki and T-Mo, I guess).

In limited minutes Moochie averaged 5 assist per game. Added a few more minutes and that's pretty good for a STARTING PG let alone back-up PG. I think that makes him far better then a 3rd string PG.

The reason it didn't work was because Dallas had no presence in the post outside of LaFrentz. Dirk was getting killed by Webber. With Ming, Griffin, Mo, Cato and KT the Rockets have enough size to compliment a 3-guard line-up. You need a shot-blocker to help defend in a 3-guard line-up and the Rockets have 3 shot-blockers.

If Griffin & Ming can get rebounds and provide an inside presence, then I'm fine with it. The question is whether they will be able to THIS year.

I'm not going to get into the whole Francis is a SG not a PG argument, but IMO he's just as much a PG as Baron Davis, more so than Mike Bibby. He has some of the best ballhandling and is a great scorer, BUT he also can pass well and rebound well. Once he has people to pass to, and a good, consistent inside presence * cough * Ming & Griffin, then he'll look much better.

And Moochie is very painful to watch for large amounts of minutes. His only merit for being in late in the game are hitting wide open threes(which he does quite well). I still like watching Tierre RUN the point better than Mooch.
