Well, I actually posted this because at least Calvin is involved with the Comets, and broadcasting for the Comets could work as an audition for the Rockets.

I would even be happy if they let Calvin do home games and Matt do road games for the Rockets. Either way, if Calvin gets back in the booth for the comets their tv ratings would definetley jump.

Can we get Daryl Morey to do some "statistical" breakdown between Calvin and Clyde to see who has a better CPG, commentating per game.

That's the only reason I'll forgive you for raising my hopes for an instant! ;)

I think you may be on to something.

    Audition?

C'mon, Calvin back wigth the Comets would be great. It might dispel the idea that women are negatively disposed towards him after the dismissed allegations.

Go, Murph. Or is that, C'mon Home, Calvin Murphy?

I'd actually sit through a WNBA game if Calvin is commentating. I miss that guy.

I've always believed that Les Alexander was money-motivated. Ergo, why not put on the most popular announcers? Because I watch and listen to League Pass, I am forced to listen to opposing commenters. In comparison Worrell holds his own but Clyde is .... lacking.

If he has a vendetta against Calvin, then take down Calvin's #23 that hangs from the rafters. That would send the message loud and clear. Otherwise, why not put the most ratings driven duo back on the air -- i.e. Bill Worrell and the Pocket Rocket along with spot comments from Matt Bullard?

The Comets gig would be a first step, but why not put Clyde over with them where his level of broadcasting ability would match the minor league aspect of women's basketball?

Sigh. I miss Calvin so much. Maybe Clyde is doing better lately, but that's not hard to do when he couldn't have been doing any worse. It's nice to see games on League Pass with the other teams announcers because the color guy provides so much more insight it's not even funny. Listen to a broadcast from another team, and you'll realize how bad Clyde truly is. Bring back Calvin!
