I am expanding my business now from fudge and homemade pies.......to now offering homemade chicken fried steak baskets and a soda fountain for lunches. My problem is that I need to find the "bag-in-box" syrup at a decent price. Does anyone know a thing about this syrup or where i could buy it at wholesale price? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sam's Club carries them, but contact coca-cola directly if you can. Coke gives amazing deals for their stuff because cheap market share is still market share.

when i was still workin as a supervisor at jollibee (filipino version of mcdonalds), we got our fountain sodas from a distributor. we were partners with US FOODS. try to look them up. they sell them from a reasonable price. they are one of the best food distibutors youll ever find. so, i would really recommend them to you.

Contact your local coke cola office. They have some type of sign up where they'll lend you a soda dispenser as long as you buy all their syrup boxes from them. Each box is approx $55.

You could pay $3k+ for a new machine and buy syrup from Sams, but how much money would you really be saving in the long run?

    Shutup, LOL. :p

I have the fountain and its ready to go; it has 6 heads. All I need is the syrup. I want to find something cheaper than 55-60 dollars a box. I contacted Coke and Sysco and everyone........and its just too high. I also was thinking..........about possibly buying a bargun with 10 buttons and it would keep things simpler and I could just sell the 6-head fountain that i have. Anyway, please keep the comments and information coming.

How much actual mixed soda could you get out of a 55 dollar box of syrup? I've always wondered. I work at a Cinemark theater and I'm sure we get a heavy discount on it, but I wonder how much profit we actually make.

Ive been told...........300 or so...full 32oz cups. Im charging 1.00 for a 32oz drink so the cups cost me 10 cents each.........so thats basically 85.00 cost and 215.00 profit IF everyone orders the 32oz drink.

That's not a bad price at all. In fact, you could probably increase profit greatly by bringing it up to almost 1.50.

Sorry. I should have elaborated a little more.

I work in a sub shop that is set in a grocery store. We use a set-up like the one you're looking in to (though, I know none of the ordering details), but we charge something like 1.40 for a large (which, I'm pretty sure is 32 oz.) and I think that's even kind of cheap.

We used Coca Cola company for a while at our bar, now we switched over to Dynaflow and they handle all our guns and our system. The Syrups i buy are all coca cola products but the good thing is that Dynaflow installs the whole system and basically does all the maintenence and stuff for free as long as you are continuing to buy the syrup from them.

Im not sure if Coca Cola will do that for you. But we have been with Dynaflow for a good 3 years and everything has been great.
