As a Rockets fan for the last 15 years, I am finally calling it quit after repeatedly getting screwed by the Rockets management team over the years.

Ask yourself how you can be a fan when the front office consistently keeps making jaw dropping silly decisions over the years. In this stupid trade, CD, JVG, and Moneyball got their collective assed gang banged by West and the Grizz and to my surprise, they are happy to take it. Sorry, most Rockets fans cannot take it any more.

I know that our coach does not like to play rookies. I am glad that he was not our coach in 2002 otherwise he would have traded Yao for a proven role player in a blink. And let me repeat this: a coach who does not patience or have clue on developing young palyers have no business in the league.

Now I am begging the Rockets front office to draw the saga to a conclusion - Package Yao & TMac for Shaq & Walker. JVG will get the MDP along with a great role player that knows how to jack up 3s to win a league title.

If you are a true fan, for better or for worst! Yeah they probably screwed this up big time but i'll still be rooting for them.

You'd think we had passed up on Vince Young or something.

I'm sure McGrady wanted a veteran too. Remember, he didn't want Orlando to draft rookie.

I'm not that shock that they traded the pick after they couldn't get Roy. I'm just shock that Battier is all they got.

    That is a fair statement.

But if you look at it further, this is not a holy matrimony of any sort. Now one here is married to this team. By that I mean that even fans have a limit. Everyone has a limit of things they can take from another person or entity.

I am not giving up on my Rox but I will not begrude anyone who does. We are different.

Jesus, I get so tired of these GRAND PROCLAIMATIONS from so called fans saying that they are no longer going to be fans because of this or that.

fa7999, you're making this statement assuming that we actually give a frogs fat ass. We don't.

Don't do it man. Think about how much the Rockets have ment to you your entire life, the happiness of those championships with Hakeem and Rudy.

I liken this Rockets team to one of those abusive boyfriends who promises he'll change but just keeps dissapointing you. I seriously don't think you can do it, it just won't feel right. Perhaps one of those playoff teams like Phx has slowly been luring you in with their great play and smart management, maybe if you live in Texas you could switch to Dallas or San Antonio.

The pain of this trade is something that will take a long time to live down, and i don't blame you for being pissed. Really pissed. But think about this, we still have the best center in the game, and one of the premier, if not best, wing players in the league. We will compete, we'll make the playoffs.

There is still a long offseason ahead of us, Rockets could do something to make it all work.

I suggest perhaps you watch some Classic Rockets games, followed by some of T-Mac's best work from the 04-05 season. Also watch Year of the Yao again, this will help you realise that you are growing with Yao the way many fans here grew with Hakeem. This is a special team, we have the smartest, most dedicated, patient fans in the world.

Stick with us, going for any other team just won't feel right. I'm telling you now. Yao and McGrady will lead us to the promiseland and when they do, it would all have been worth it.

Hey, it's not the end of the world! Please come back as a ROXS fan! Heck, I've been a fan since 1981, I deal with the bad as well as the good! I also had to endure this crapolla from this front office & this dinosaur head coach who's trapped in the early 90's NBA! :p ;) I feel your pain.
