Cool...thanks. That was pretty funny about the hoax. Seems to be alot of anxious Rush fans out there after a half decade detour by the band. I wonder when the first song will be released to the radio stations. Anyone know?

    Another anxious Rush fan...

I have just gotten into Rush and recently purchased "Moving Pictures."

I will have to check it out, but I want to continue buying their older and more classic stuff.

BTW - Neal Peart may be the best drummer that I have ever heard.

It's good to see that Rush is back after the tragedies that Neil went through. I used to be a big fan (I've seen them four, or five times and had all of their albums through "Roll the Bones"). I still respect them a lot.

Now, I would echo Neil Peart in saying that the best drummer of all time has to go through Buddy Rich. My best friend (and avid Rush fan....he has much of Neil's Tama drum set up circa "Signals") recently got a Buddy Rich video and we were blown away. Check him out...he's the one, as far as I'm concerned.

    I'll second with that.

Buddy Rich is the best drummer that was ever recorded behind a drumset. He would play circles around Neil Pert and then look at him down with the disdain that he reserves for all human beings that are not Buddy Rich.

The guy may have been the biggest @ss in all of Jazz, but it's kinda hard to fault him for thinking that he was better than everybody else when he actually was.

Word. No one can touch Buddy Rich. The first time I saw a video of him, I was just blown away.

Looking through those Rush sites, I found this link: http://home.i1.net/~bytor/willywonka2112.html

It's a link to a site that has info on how to sync up the album 2112 and Willy Wonka (with Gene Wilder) and the similarities...

just like the Pink Floyd/Wizard of Oz thing...

    too funny.
    enjoy
