their been many threads on this already...a lot of people do want Tmac; if cd can pull it off he should. My suggestoin steve + cuttion for tmac and lue.

I am now against trading Francis for a role player. I would still trade him for either T-Mac or Iverson though. T-Mac in a blink of an eye. Iverson I'd think about but end up doing.

 

I don't want to give up that much. Either keep Cato or Nachbar. If T-Mac forces a trade, then they won't be so picky.

I don't think Iverson would be any better than SF. Sure, Iverson can score at will, but SF already has 2 years of sharing the ball with Yao, it would be Iverson's first to ever play with a legit C.

Plus, AI and JVG=not going to work.

 

agree. Steve is gettting better for this team, while Iverson going downhill. Iverson is not young.

 

why do we have to trade and have to deal with player chemistry and growth problems which take time and years. We have a core team and great chemistry now. We are about to get over the hump and we as fans should have patience. Just have faith

 

Don't get rid of our core players all we need is a power forward!!!! Keep the core just add a soild power forward.

I'm glad some people are seeing the light that just getting rid of Francis is stupid. People were ready to thrown Francis away for a half-eaten bag of Cheetos earlier this year, but I hope most people take this attitude.

The only way we make a major move is for someone the caliber of T-Mac ... Don't know if its possible or not though. I don't think I would go with Iverson here ... but I think the case could be made.

sometimes in the regular season i really thought it would be addition by subtraction. but you know i appreciate Steve's effort. that said there's still a lot of players I would trade him for, i.e. Ray Allen, Iverson, etc. it would just have to be another proven scorer because otherwise Yao would get triple teamed all the time.
