I'd rather watch the team that played last nite
for the rest of the year
than what we have seen in these last few weeks.

I am almost to the point that T-mac and SF [and I am a big SF guy]
can chill on the bench for the rest of the year
until they get their collective heads out of their *sses

1st - SF - YOU HAVE DISAPPOINTED ME!!!!!!!!
Everyone knows I WAS AGAINST THE T-MAC TRADE
and have never relented on it
I have backed SF since he left .. .through the crapfest
    that was the Knicks
    but
STEVE FRANCIS YOU HAVE DISAPPOINTED ME BIG TIME!!!
You not in shape . . .you need more time. . you need something
I think it is mental .. You need ya swaggar back . .you need to DO YOU
and stop trying to appease your critics. . .bE YOU . . other wise
If you going to imitate Rafer .. or some other so called 'true' point guard
you might need to sit down . . . . We need you to penetrate and dish
If you not going to do that . . or can't . . well sit you *ss down

    T-Mac - SOFTIE!!!!
    Man . . .. You quit on us. . . I see it in you Eyes. . .
If you Injured . . .sit your *ss down
If not . . .MAN UP!

EFFORT!!! That is All I want. . I saw it last nite
That team . . .the one last nite. . .it can win 40 games!!

The only people who are crazy are those who object to your views :) I have never ever seen T-mac quit, show so much unwillingness,no passion for the game than this year.. RR I'm with you and changes are needed.

I'd be cautious about getting what you wish for...

Yes, the effort was there... that was obvious when every single player on our team looked like they were about to die at the start of the second OT (while Denver was bouncing around like nothing much was going on).

However, Denver played a pretty SOFT defense against Yao... never denying him the ball, and allowing him to find countless open teammates for quality, wide open shots (even though they missed a lot of them).

All it takes is for a team to actually do their homework, and deny/front Yao as much as possible... and force Rafer (who's the only guard who can somewhat create off the drible) to beat the other team.

I definitly like the fire in head's belly. Dude might not be as talented as some, but he is a winner.

Whatever a better defensive team does in denying Yao and the team is irrelevant. What is relevant for the rockets is how they competed and didn't give up because we played against a number of soft teams that denied yao the ball and fronted him and we played against some good teams who did the same and we just folded. The key was how we competed, how we played together, how we moved the ball and got more than one person involved. We didn't quit and I don't care how good a team is defensively because if we play like last night every game is winnable.

We almost beat the spurs without T-mac and they do their homework and take things away from you. It's the effort that counts and that is what was on display last night.

hey not to take away from last nights game, but this is denver, i'd like to see some more moral victories against dallas, or rather just some victories...

but i guess one has to start from somewhere

Yes, you're right... I do wish the team would bring that effort, the same effort JVG DEMANDED of them every single night (the same effort that he'd determine minutes for... if you were lazy or out of shape, you were SOL).

If they can sustain playing that hard every minute of every game, they'll definitely win some games... the question is, why haven't they been getting drilled for not giving that effort thus far?

Perhaps Rick has realized he's either going to have to be a taskmaster and spoon-feed this team in order for them to keep their focus... rather than be the laid back, "players coach" that he was labeled as a "messiah" for being like.

i'd like to know why there was so much more ball movements last nit, was it tmac's absense? i dont really think so, i think it was just everyone else not hesitating to take the shots and making them (even though they also missed a lot of em)...
... oh well, maybe it has to do with tmac in some way afterall.....

definitely do with tmac, just think, if tmac was on court, would others not hesitate to make shots? noooo! they have to find tracy first, and wait, wait to shoot until tracy was not able to make any chance to shoot and pass the ball to them with less than 5 secs left. what's worse, they dont even know when tracy would just pull up for a jumper, cause their foot might still on half court line...

    101 Percent agree with you.

The team fought with pride last night.

Tired of watching tmac playing like he doesn't care of the outcome.

At first glance of this thread,
before I head off to bed
    I thought it was rhyme
But now that i have time
    to read and see
that wasn't the case to be

the rockets showed up around 9
no tmac , but rafer dropped the dimes
a party i was at, the girls were fine
flipped the channel to tnt just in time
    to watch our play
    3 pointer by shane batier!
but some freak shot by at the end
gave the rox another loss by friend
but the heart they played with should makes foes shiver
next time you write like this
    make sure it rhymes

Wow your right.. Hey do you remember the game last year when T-mac scored like 13 pts in like 35 seconds against the Spurs.. Or hey when he was in Orlando and had two scoring title years.. Oh I also remember how athletic and determined he was before..

But it means JACK sh$@t because we have seen how he is playing now this YEAR!!!! whats the point of having him win 1 game and then loosing all will to play for 3-5 games.. This team needs him to step it up everynight because truth be told only he on this team currently can get us to that ring.. But if he continues to play the way he has been playing all year.. Forget trying to win the 1st round of the playoffs let alone winning the title.

Are you out of your mind? T-Mac is still a rocket, you could talk about his softies, but you shouldn't insult him like this.
