.. or so say consultants William M. Mercer Limited. And I, of course, agree. http://www.wmmercer.com/global/english/resource/resource_news_topic235.html#Environmental And Vancouver has the second highest quality of life. I guess Steve just doesn't know a good thing when he sees it. [/boastful Canadian rant]
Hey, it's not my definition. This report was released in London England, I believe. Of course I think it's a very good report, very wise, astute …
It is the cleanest because it is too damn cold for anyone to live there, therefore they cannot pollute.
Yup, clean and bland. I'll struggle by with clean and bland. Cannabis is still illegal here, unless you have a doctor prescribe it as a medication, so I doubt that Vancouver has open Cannabis Cafes. The penalty for possession of small amounts is essentiality a slap on the wrist though. So I'm sure there are places that bend the law a bit. hmmm... Image function not working?
There was an article in Rolling Stone a few years ago that talked about how lax the enforcement of mar1juana laws are in Vancouver. Apparently, there are actually a few so-called Canabis Cafes in operation.
My parent's are getting up there in age, and I've vowed to stick around while they're still with us. But if not for that, I'd give up Houston in a second for Vancouver or Calgary....or (especially) Victoria. Alberta and BC rules! My wife...the consummate Dallas girl....would gladly come along.
Grizzled, I took a little golfing mini-vacation to Vancouver Island a couple of years ago. I was very impressed.
I wish America would stop being cheapies and just buy Brittish Columbia off of Canada. I mean I bet they would throw in Alberta just to make the deal happen. that way Alaska would actually be part of America, and not some far away imaginary land full of magical sled dogs and giant vegatables.
Kiss my Western-Canadian Ass! Lol, I have my own ideas on territorial expansion, which is highlighted here. (Scroll down to where you see the map of a country that resembles the current United States of America. ) Grizzled, thanks for the link. Its just another opportunity for me to remind these arrogant Ontarians how great the west, and specifically Calgary is! Azim da DreamEdit: my link won't work because the site is actually f-u-c-kineh.com and thus came out as www.******eh.com
yah...you're right, just a short drive down '59 I don't understand why it's so much prettier when you take the ferry from Vancouver.....I guess 'cuz you come in from a different side of the city.
Hey Azim! Good to see you back! How's school going? Pole, we look forward to having you up here. In preparation, you can begin practising this: http://ingeb.org/songs/godsaveo.html And of course, The Rant, has useful information for you as well. http://www.videoclipstream.com/akamai/therant/rant.html
