Hey I'm a liberal party party boy, but, stupid is stupid. Everything you choose to do has it's consequences, if you can't live with them, don't do it. Thinking anything is going to be a secret, is stupid.

Did you sell him "Koch Brother from another Mother" ?

Right-wing folks complaining about selective coverage of sex scandals is always funny, especially when a few of them on this board probably posted, what, 500 times each on "Weinergate" (and if I bothered) looking even further---Spitzergate.

Weiner only voted against the Patriot Act, Spitzer was only, oh, crucifying Wall Street executives known to be frequenting $1000 escorts with him, on the things that might have prevented 2008.

Meanwhile, two prominent GOP presidential candidates have had affairs, and yet they still ran with little attention (hi newt and rudy).

It's funny because I can honestly say I don't give a s**t. it's all about the ideas (of course Cain's ideas are terrible---did anyone laugh when he said the sex scandal would prevent his "clear foreign policy"? how bout them moats and don't forget the president of Uzbekistan!) but it's hilarious to see people who think sending a dick pic is the end of western civilization suddenly scream political assassination.

Interesting that Cain said in his press conference, "there will probably be others' when referring to more accusers.

HC just called to the mat by CNN...

    paraphrased:

CNN asked "you said before you didn't remember a settlement, than you did the next day... you now say you don't remember Sharon Bialiek... is it a possibility you could remember her tomorrow?

    Cain says "remote possibility"

The ~15 mins that I watched, Cain did extremely well. Couldn't have gone better for him. I'll leave it to others to review the video for contradictions and flubs.

Regardless of today's performance, there is no doubt these accusations will hurt him and cause his candidacy to sink faster than it would have otherwise.

You weren't watching it in a gym full of women like me.
The only issue he was solid on was his possible dementia. And remember, sexual harassment occurs in the mind of the harassed not the harrasser. If lie detector tests are the bar then line 'em all up, and lets go. Same FBI guy, neutral field, open reading of technical results, no lawyers.

Where is this gym and are the women hot?

[Seem like a fitting comment given the Cain story. :)]

See, what I was doing inside my head, I can't get arrested for or accused of or nothing. It's when you use your 'outside the head' voice that you get in trouble.

    wait for it......

I venture to say this will not end well for Cain, despite those who want to believe otherwise, for whatever reasons. He is out of his league.

He may have been able to pull this off as a savvy "businessman" where he held the power as a big fish in a small pond playing with a stacked deck behind closed doors.

He is now a not-so-savvy "politician" with little power as a small fish in a big pond with sharks swimming about and blood in the water.

I hope he is the GOP nominee. I may actually vote for him in the Texas primary if he lasts that long.

I urge other Democrats to do the same.

Dude, zero evidence my arse. Others have already pointed out some of it. Guy was guilty. Repubs just cry false accusations and blame the liberal media to protect their own. A man without moral fiber sits on the Supreme Court - it's devastatingly scary.

That guy has done more damage to this nation than any other man. Consider how he influenced who became president in 2000 and therefore our invasion of Iraq. He has opened up the floodgates of corporate money into politics, and many many other rulings.

Worst Supreme Justice in History. Too bad we can't recall him. I'd put any conservative in his place.
