Mobley has hardly been any better the only difference is he is playing with 3 All stars who mask his weaknesses. At least Cade is the face of the franchise and clearly the no 1 option. What about Mobley? Hide behind Allen on defense, hide behind Garland and Mitchell on offense.

Analyze 14% from 3 pt range for Mobley lol.

My point is wholly proven by your post. Despite being a fan of this team, I do think Rockets harbor the dumbest fanbase in all of professional sports.

It is tough to push a DPOY for Number 1 though....in a down year maybe........

GMs have picked Offensive players.....but I have not seen many pick a defensive first player at Number 1......not since Hakeem and by far Mobley is not Hakeem who was a top Offense player as well.

You are right this fanbase does indeed have some of the dumbest fans around. I'm talking to one right now.

As bad as Cade has looked no way he is worse than Mobley.

You don't pick defensive guys who are horrible offensively no 1 the NBA has role players who can do that. Grant Williams for example is almost as good as Mobley on defense but also scores efficiently as a 3nD.

Cade hasn't impressed at all, but my goodness, look at that Pistons roster.

This looks like what would happen if @DaDakota got his way and invited every bust and scrub onto the Rockets because of "potential". The list is absurd. Killian Heyes playing over Jaden Ivey?? Both Marvin Bagley and James Wiseman in the frontcourt taking away minutes from Jalen Duren???? Kevin Knox getting rotation minutes?????????????????

Not only are there way too many mouths to feed for proper development, but wasting time with draft busts this late into the rebuild, a rebuild that started the same year Houston's did, is inexcusable.

If the pistons get rid of Steven Silas they might have a chance.

This dude really might be cursed. I watch DET, and even though Silas is not the head coach, a lot of stuff going on over there that is very similar to the bullshit that was going on over here with silas

They play a worse player over a better player - (Killian over Ivey)

Playing a journeyman player (Knox) who can shoot, but is not part of your core taking away minutes from children

Benching the best player Asuar for no reason because he did one bad thing

Pushing a pace too fast the guards just TO the ball at a crazy amount.

Despite having good defensive players the defense is straight ass.

It's crazy how similar the incompetence is over there. it really feels like silas is coaching the team.

Troy Weaver is the worst GM in the league. Yes, it's good to get vets to mentor your young stars. Yes, it's good to gamble on undervalued high picks from other teams to try to bring them back. No, don't just keep blindly doing both at the same time till your roster is both cramped and nonsensical at the same time.
