I think I already know the anwer to this question, but I'm going to ask anyway. Is the cable company free to place their junction box in whichever lot they choose as long as it is within the easement? My mom is asking because the cable company is trying to stick a junction box in her yard and neither of us uses cable.

Exactly...I just cancelled my TV service today so I could get this Roadrunner and afford it but the guy left the box unlocked, and all the TV filters he put in there have mysteriously disappeared;)...all I know is I get HBO on my broadcast TV:confused:

Well, when we bought the lots, the developer told us that there would be no junction boxes in our backyards. When the cable company told my mom that they would be putting a junction box in the yard, she questioned the foreman and he said that the development plan called for that. My mom told him that she was going to get hold of the developer and lo an behold, the junction box goes up in the neighbors yard...who happens to work for the cable company...I wonder if that was just coincidence or the neighbor was trying to call in a favor...bottom line is this...the junction box is not in either of our yards.
    :D
