I tried to fix my friend's computer with this pop up "C:\Windows\System32 Services.exe"

I have scan his computer with Malwarebytes, and Spybot in safe mode it picked up some virus/adwares/malwares and had them removed.

After reboot, the computer still has this C:\Windows\System32 Service.exe pop up screen

When I tried to go to Malwarebytes.org or certain website .. it would redirect me to another site.

    any advise?

My computer has been doing that for a while when I start up. Haven't had any technical/performance problems with it doing that. My computer is a junker though.

Computer has a rootkit and it's reinstalling itself after you reboot. Try to run malwarebytes in safemode, but it may be easier to backup your data and reinstall the OS.

From a previous virus / malware related thread:

    1. Reboot PC into Safe mode using F8 at the splash screen. (like another poster said).

    2. Run rkill available here. Rkill.exe It stops known malware processes. If you aren't able to connect to the internet. Open internet explorer, open internet options. Click on the Connections Tab. Click on Advanced. Un-check proxy server if it's check marked.

    3. Download malwarebytes and run the scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php

    4. If the malware caused your files to disappear, download and run unhide.exe here. It will make all your files visible again. A bunch of these new malwares add +h to them. Unhide.exe
