I've seen a few of the Cinn. games and I really like their center, Donald Little. He's 6'11" and looks physically developed. He doesn't have that much of an offensive arsenal, but he is active on the boards and blocks shots with consistancy, plus he's alot faster than Marcus.

I'd be personally happy with either one, probably more so with Little. probably.

I think we don't need a C, the way Kelvin's developed. We should focus more on Gooden, Dunleavy, Jeffries, Woods or another SF.

Yes, I know we need a backup, but we need a STARTING SF more than a BACKUP C......

The Big C I have liked in the tourney so far is Chris Christoffersen of Oregon. We will see some more of him against the Longhorns but as a hack-a-Shaq alone he would be worth the high 2nd round pick.

no way, Chrisstofferson sux. I like Little, C. Marcus, C. Wilcox, and Barnes from UT. Other than them, noone. I really don't want another white center unless his name is Raef.

And yes we do need a 3. But I'd rather go big early to get the best one available.

Also, I'm not crazy about the SF in the early lotto. I'd much rather take Yarborough or Grizzard. They have both played in good programs and have been tested much more than a player in a jr. college in rural Mississippi. If you swaped out the previous mentioned, they too would look like superstars. Truth is Woods is playing a bunch of shorter , less talented, (some possibly inbred) slower kidds.

Dunleavy has said he wasn't coming out, and I still don't think I would take him at #7. Reason- I'll give you 2. Parks and Laettner. Would you trade your 7th pick for ither. I didn't think so.

Also, Boston got burned last year with Kedrick. And honestly, if Chris Marcus had come out last year, I believe he would have went before Curry and Diop.

We also need a good backup point a la Kirk Hinrich. Tierre is turnover prone, Moochie is too dribbling prone. And our backup center is too injury prone.

How about none of them? I don't see any C's available that look attractive. Marcus looked weak against Borchardt - just too damned slow. And no, I don't mean he can't run the floor. That doesn't bother me so much. But he lacks quickness, and that'll kill you. That's why Shaq, for instance, is so dangerous: massive and quick.

Did you guys see Gadzuric at all????? He looked like quite an athelete. Very alert, quick and strong. I think he will be a solid pro.

For anyone who says we need a SF(I don't) I say we wait for James Thomas of UT. He plays EXACTLY Like the Junkyard Dog.
At C, I think we need Marcus. He can't be any slower than Olajuwan was last year.

There are plenty of good 5's in this years draft, as we've all noticed. We should get the best possible one, meaning to use our draft pick. The 3's that are available early have big question marks next to them. Those guys being Dunleavy, Woods, and Jeffries.

We're just gonna have to wait and see how the tournament and the mini camps go before there is a clear order of talent in the top 5's.

What we should do now is pray for Toronto to make the playoffs. It's looking really bad as of now, they're something like 4 games behind Charollete with less than 20 games left in the season.
