Talk about not being able to stay healthy. This kid always has something going on with him. He makes Yao look like he is health perfect..

(With that, let's hope Yao stays perfectly healthy.)

The jazz better steal this one else they stand no chance at all.

Its ironic that Dwight Howard is the reigning iron man of the league, when his most physically-imposing competition at center (Yao, Oden, Bynum) can't stay healthy.

If you think of it, a lot of the big men are able to stay healthy.

Bogut is out, Oden is always hurt along with Ming and Bynum. Jefferson has had his fair share of injuries.

Only one who has been able to just stay healthy and dominate is Dwight. I'm sure though him and Lebron are just built different. When is the last time you've seen these guys out for a long period of time? They are obviously not human...or genetically enhanced or something.

This makes Pau's tip-in at the buzzer really hurt. If Bynum would have missed game 7, OKC might have had a decent shot at winning and advancing.

Sucks for the Lakers... although I don't think they'll need him against the Jazz in order to win the series.

This puts a wet blanket on the sign and trade of Bosh for Bynum this offseason.

Is this an injury that won't get worse by playing on it?

The Jazz are far better at the 4 spot with Boozer and Milsap than anything the Thunder could throw against them. Gasol and Odom aren't known for their defense. Bynum isn't either, but he can score and sometimes rebound well. Westbrook did very well, but Deron is in another league.

If the Thunder can push the Lakers near a seventh game,Utah can do a lot of damage as well. If the Lakers are at the top of their game, they should make it. They aren't playing very well. The Jazz have a chance of upsetting them.

the lakers play well against the j*zz. IMO they will have an easier time with the j*zz than the thunder who liked to run and did it very well.

I think they match up better against Utah. Sure it'll be easier to score on just Gasol instead of Gasol and Bynum inside... but Gasol gives Boozer and Millsap fits.

Part of the reason why the Thunder took the Lakers to 7 is because Kobe was struggling. I think that game 6 should give him a little momentum for himself going into this series... he's been struggling with his injuries though.

I also feel that LA has a better chance of winning in SLC than Utah does winning in LA.

Yeah, I really agree. Dwight is really something special. If you look at all the big men, and look at Dwight he looks so slim yet big and strong. He really is well built.

This. And to the poster above me:

Random, but DeMarcus Cousins has that same build, iirc, but a little more girth, even.

Scary to see how good offensively Cousins might turn out.

Tear in meniscus?! Bynum should get some advice from Brandon Roy! I'm still amazed that he played 8 days after surgery.

But I still hate him for that game winner.....

Huh? Am I missing something? Isn't this the same Utah team that they owned last year? I actually think the Lakers match up better with Utah than with the Thunder.

He needs to rest up, no need to further damage the knee.

Besides, even w/o Bynum, the Lakers will beat the Jazz, but now it might just extend the series.

Lakers only need Bynum against the Spurs, Magic or Cavs to matchup with Duncan, Howard or Shaq respectively.

And yet Yao is the one who just missed the whole season not Bynum.

lmao. i hope LA loses b/c i know the Jazz will lose in the conference finals or to lebron. LA could win it all if they aren't knocked out early.
