Assuming health...with organic growth, chemistry, and possible tweaking of the roster, I say...absolutely.

OKC no. DEN yes. We need to trade/sign(a buyout) for another playmaker.

Might get attacked here, but despite our offensive rating and our wins right now, I think we would get exposed by OKC in the playoffs because we do not have a PG. I think we are a top 5 team in the NBA and are one of the contenders but I think our regular season success might be misleading if our goal is championship or bust. I trust Stone/Ime will continue to evaluate and tinker as the season goes on and I'll even give Amen the benefit of the doubt on his super saiyan improvement.

That being said, I couldn't be happier with Amen, Jabari, Sengun's improvement and Durant's seemless transition to our team. I am hoping the Tari situation will be OK and I'm a fan of his so I hope it's a mutual win-win by season's end for him and Rockets. Reed won't be ready to be a starter by season's end.

I imagine we trade one or more of Reed, Tari, Clint and in the right situation, FVV... for a PG if FVV is really not going to make it back by playoffs.

Assuming health is kind of the point with a 37yr old KD

Yeah that’s right- completely agree that some team will try to exploit that. There aren’t necessarily a ton of teams with the personnel to do that but trust more than one team will play us full court just to exploit that as a weakness.

The Rockets have enough talent to beat both teams, but we don't know yet. This team is still developing and has a long way to go.

First thing on the agenda is being able to beat the Warriors in the playoffs. After that, we'll worry about OKC and Denver.

I might even care more about us being able to beat the Warriors in a playoff series than winning a chip. But we can't risk it, KD and us vs the Warriors? They will rig it so hard we might have to tank again.

Well we took OKC to double OT in our first game... and id say we're on an upward trajectory... so... yeah.

The Rockets need a reliable PG who can play efficiently in the playoffs to beat GS and the Nuggets, only then can they challenge the champions.
