Late in the game after Dirk came in after a missed shot and dunked it. Yao had come over to help on the penetration and it left dirk open.

 

I actually remember when he did it during the game. As the Rockets called a time out, they showed the replay and that idiot was doing that ****. He can't even hold TMac's jock strap. F*cking punk.

 

yeah, yao never had a call and dirk never got called for a foul.

yao went to the line 16 times and dirk had 5 fouls in the game. if you want to say the refs blew a few calls, i think thats understandable, but lets not distort reality here.

 

So you're saying as long as Yao's FT is more than Dirk's, then Sissy Nirtiwzy is getting a raw deal from the refs? Yao should have gone to the line 20+ times in this game.

Dirk will never be able to defend Yao if not for his dirty plays, wake up and realize that Dirk Nirwizky is not going to be a great player in this league because of his character, not his talent or skills. A great player don't need to flop and chop like he did.

And realize this, Mav fan, the Mavs are never gonna be anything more than a "decent" team for at least another 40 years. Rockets will be a contender from here on out because we got TMac & Yao.

i didn't say nowitzki was getting a raw deal from the mavs. i said yao certainly wasn't getting jobbed by the refs if he's going to the line 16 times and dirk is getting called for 5 fouls per game. if yao shoots his typical 80% from the line during the game, the rockets push the mavs into OT. so don't make this a case of the refs being out to screw the mavs. last year, when the lakers beat the rockets, this board had the same conspiracy talk of the refs being out to job the rockets. you can probably make a fair case that the rockets got jobbed on a few calls that could have influenced the game, but over a 7 game series, the better team always wins. not that im saying the series is over, but if the mavs win 4 games, it won't be because the refs were out to screw the rockets every single game. if the rockets win 4 games, it will mean that they were the better team.

the mavs have had 5 straight seasons of 50+ wins. we have a nice group of young core players with young role players as well. the rockets have 2 franchise players and bunch of mid 30's players. whether you'd like to admit it or not, there will be some retooling that needs to be done over the next couple of seasons before the rockets become serious contenders. i like the rockets, i really do, i follow them pretty closely, and they are my second favorite team. that being said, houston has almost no young talent, (besides maybe badiane), and the two franchise players are just now entering their peak. its going to be a tricky situation for CD to manage.

in regards to your comments about the mavs being contenders and ****ing them and their fans, i hope you aren't representing every other houston fan. its pretty unbecoming.

the fouls and ref issue aside, one thing i've learned from this series for sure: dirk is no superstar.

Are you guys really suprised? After all the antics Barry has been doing? I think this was just Dirk's way of putting it in Barry's face. It always sucks when it comes at our expense.

 

Because like Deke, he did it towards the stands. What I find humorous about it is that he's trying to be the "rock star"-like bad-ass that Cuban likes so much when fact is, both are goofballs that don't have an ounce of cool in them.

(If you ever watched an episode that dreadful Millionaire show Cuban did, you'll know what I mean.)

now i cherish the episode of punked when his ugly ass signed a lebron james jersey.

 

The made-up fouled calls on Dirk is an embarrassment to the NBA. It's transparent and nothing short of a joke. He is no "Superstar" without the ref's whistle.
