After all the talk, talk, and more talk, press/video game leaks, and waiting, is there anything left to look forward to when the new uniforms are finally released? I mean we all pretty much know what they look like now. My 2 cents.
I hope this thread doesn't get shut down. All the recent uniform threads seem to. I voted for the top one. I'm still excited and I can't wait to buy a hat in support.(haven't seen one yet)
Yeah me too DG. Its not another "When are the new uniforms coming out?" thread, its about if people have lost interest in the buzz surrounding them.
I just want the season to start already...in the end, it's not the most important thing what they wear, but how they play!
I'm still pretty pumped. I could never bring myself to buying the pinstriped jersey, but this one I definitely will. Can't wait until they are released for sale. Are their any other members living in Illinois?
I wonder how different the suppossed "modifications" to the version we saw are, that's what I wanna see.

I almost forgot the Rockets are gonna have new uniforms this year. They'll be wearing 'em media day, no doubt.
I'm in northwest Chicago, a suburb called Hoffman Estates. Right beside Schaumburg and the big woodfield mall.
When its all said and done, I think it was a little ridiculous that the uniforms weren't unveiled at the "Test Drive". You would think that Reebok and the Rockets would get their respective stuff together. Everyone else has shown off their new uniforms, and yet the Rockets still linger on without showing what there's is going to look like. There's all this supposed secrecy, yet we pretty much know what it looks like, so I don't think its that big of a deal anymore. If they play like a team and get their stuff together on the court I'll be more than happy and could care less what they wear. But the whole drama leading up to showing off the uniforms was killed when they decided not unveil them at the Test Drive. The only thing that matters is making the playoffs.
i'm still excited. we have a general idea of what they look like but we still haven't seen them on an actual person. the mobley pic doesn't really count. before it was excitement plus some skepticim because we did afterall release thoes pajamas, but from what i've seen the new ones look great.
I have lost all excitement completely about the uniforms as a stand-alone item. Only one word can describe the treatment of logo and uniform this year: confusing. On the other hand, seems like they are doing a good job with the arena. I'm the type of guy that looks towards what's next on the horizon - and right now, that's training camp, not uniforms anymore.
Although i can care less about uniforms at this point.. wouldnt it be cool if like all those uniforms we have seen have been hoax, meant for us to see them like that so they can shock us with a totally different design... I dont know just dreaming on..
i have an asinine nike swingman that says 'ming' on it so im waiting for the new uni to put on my wall so it says "yao" "ming". yeah, that'll make me the **** of the walk...
the more i see "when will the uniforms be released" threads, the more i lose interest on the new unis... cant we just sit down and wait. it will come out , we dont have to drool all over it.
if rebok is having trouble getting us the uniform, why dont we just call Cuttino Mobley and get the one he's wearing in that pic.....?!?!?! I doubt thats the reason we havent seen them yet. They probably wont release them until training camp starts.
I currently reside in Chicago, and I am waiting for the uniforms to come out as well. I assume we'll wait longer than the folks in Houston, but hopefully not too much longer.
they waited too long to officially release it, for me anyway. I was really interested in what the unis would look like once the season ended, but the delay in releasing them hasn't built up my anticipation, it's taken it away. I just don't care anymore. With training camp and preseason approaching, uniforms are secondary.
