I have this available to me. Seeking feedback on value. I am pretty much only using it to run illustration software for insurance products.

    Processor: Intel Celeron 1.4
Memory: SDRAM 133: 256 MB 133 MHz RAM
Hard Drive: Western Digital 20 GB 7200 RPM
Motherboard: Socket 370 w/Sound, Video, LAN
    CD ROM: 54X CD ROM
    Floppy Drive: 1/44 MB 3.5"
    Modem: 56K PCI Modem
Case: Aopen H340D MicroBook 180 Watt Power Supply
    Keyboard: 101 Key PS/2 Style
    Mouse: PS/2 Scroll
    Operating System: Windows XP Home

Is this adequate? What should be upgraded?

Any help is appreciated. I need to make a decision in a couple of days.

if you're going to be running illustration software, I'd probably opt for a pentium system, not sure how a celeron will run said software.

when I think celeron, i equate it with "budget" or "low cost"

otherwise 256 megs of ram is good, 54x CD is good, 20gig HD should suffice...

    good luck
