Are you looking to buy a .IN domain? Or are you just looking to buy a domain in India that could be anything? Can't you just buy one online?
I was hoping for you to respond . I am looking to buy a .in domain that is owned by someone else already (a company in India). The domain has apparently been owned by them for two years already, but it looks like there has never been any content on the site (I checked on archive.org).
email them and make an offer there are some companies that will do the negotiating for you ( godaddy i think ), but you might as well do it yourself
I'd just email admin@whateverthedomainis.com or something similar and see if you get a response. But to be honest, if they haven't updated the site, they may not even check the email and it may be auto-renewing. Try going somewhere like this : http://www.inregistry.in/register/ and seeing if you can find contact info by using WHOIS. Outside of that, I'm not sure what else you can do. Maybe someone else can help.
you can get like a domain company try to buy it for you, it may cost a lot more... Shoot its india, pay the right people and you can get the domain transfered to your name.
