    I'm surrounded by Laker fans. I live with my brother, who is a die hard Laker fan.
    But, I would think most Laker fans knew Ebanks. As far as Hill, the ones surrounding me knew of him - because of me.

    I live in OC now and I play basketball at my complex most of the time. Today i was there with the regular group of guys there. Most being Lakers fans.

    They were going off on how bad ass Jordan Hill was etc etc...I was like yea...wait till you get more than one game and see how he does. They have no clue about him until he became a laker.

    To be fair, we do the same thing. We trade for unknown or rarely used bench player, they tear it up. Suddenly, everyone on the board thinks the player is a future Hall of Fame player that will get the Rockets to a championship contender status. Go from criticizing how Morey never gets quality players, and then proclaim him the greatest GM of all time.


    Few weeks later, Morey is no a mere mortal, again. That particular player is being proposed in all sorts of trades for an elite level superstar.
