Just came in from this cool movie. A little bit of everything in this one. Anyone else see this on opening night?
Eh, it sucked. Didn't really like it at all, except it was much better than Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!

I don't have to "try" to score some choice pu-nanny! It was my girl's day off and she's been through a rough few weeks, so I thought I'd give her her day at the movies. I'm still alive. Barely.
Aside from some sicko scenes, I was entertained by the likes of Cold Mountain at the movies on my date with my wife. She likes Nicole Kidman, and I guess it's not rough on my eyes either... but the graphic 3-way scenes during the capture of the deserters segment was entirely uncalled for. We wished we'd chosen Along Came Polly due to the sick fat chick nude scenes in Cold Mountain alone. I saw Butterfly Effect advertised... but if that's any kind of thriller/horror at all I'll never drag the Mrs. to see that one. Saw previews for "Troy" and it looks like an epic. Hope it delivers.
