Wow ... so FOX news really really hates liberals .. but they apparently also sorta hate the Tea Party.

    Three cheers for Mitt!

I think Ron Paul is interesting. I agree with a load of stuff he says. I also vehemently disagree with a lot too.

That said, I hope he wins the Republican nomination later. Debates between him and Obama will be awesome and could change the shape of future policies from either of them based on public reaction/preference.

Ron Paul is completely schizoid. He is admirable on many political rights (historically a bit weak on civil rights, but seems to have come around on racial issues in his later years).

Ron is completely nuts on economics and his economics would lead to the vast majority of folks becoming completely subservient to giant corporaqtions. He is crazy if he thinks that these corprorations would honor Consitutional freedoms if it got in the way of profits.

except that big corporations like the ones you are describing wouldn't exist if he got his way either because they are just govt. sanctioned monopolies.

I don't agree with everything Ron Paul says, but he is one of the few politicians who I could say is just honest and that I trust. He calls it how it is and doesn't play bs games nad I respect that.

there should be journalistic standards that, if breached, limit or remove your access and ability to broadcast as a news station.

Fox News successfully argued in court that it can legally lie. Google Fox BGH lawsuit for more information then you probably care to read. (Note that all five major media players filed amici briefs in support of Fox's purview)

Paul has some nice ideas, but he follow way too many crazy ones ( Gold standard seriously?) and dabbles with the racists and conspiracy theorists too much for me to support him.

This also isn't the first time they've done this. Stewart had a clip where he showed that Fox News was conflating two Tea Party protests to make attendance appear larger than it was.

It seems like Fox has done this before on a few occasions. In addition to the one that Kojirou mentioned didn't Fox also use footage from a day before to make an anti-war protest seem like it didn't happen?

Hopefully this will convince many Fox viewers to look elsewhere for their news.

I really doubt this story is being covered widely on Fox News, so they'll never even hear it.

Have you considered though that in regards to government interference his positions are very consistent in regard to political, social and economic involvement of the government? In all cases he wants to see as little as possible.

Also corporations have no loyalty to Constitutional freedoms and shouldn't be expected to do so since the Constitution is primarily about the relationship of government to the people. It is government's role to police corporate behavior not corporation's role to be loyal.

They probably won't hear it from Fox but word of this will spread around virally through things like blogs and Facebook. I already saw this posted on facebook by a Ron Paulite friend.

You really want the federal government deciding what is real news and what is not? The FCC is salivating for the opportunity... thats scares me more than anything FOX news could do.

There truly is no objective news source anywhere anymore; it's impossible. Every network has at least a hint of favoritism towards one or the other.

If the idiots and mental-infants who watch FOX religiously want to walk around being wrong all day then that's their decision, but I wouldn't want any government directing the news.

FOX news is the worst, but all news networks are slanted by the fact that they're all pro-capitalism, and that bias slants them so thoroughly that it's almost imperceptible.
