On the one hand, good point, as there seems to be almost no correlation between the numbers at this point and what happens thereafter, but on the other hand it also sort of deflates the point of this thread, except possibly the direction in which they're going.

All that we can really see is that Bush is getting less popular - a positive sign. But 9 months is a LOOOOOONG time.
