Uh, is this article full of hypocrisy? http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=514&e=4&u=/ap/20040730/ap_on_el_pr/bush
I saw the speech, and it was very attack oriented. So much for the hope of a postive campaign. The negativity has stepped into full swing.
i can't help but think of that jibjab cartoon when i read this. "you can't say nuclear that really scares me"
How dare the administration criticize the opponent? Conservatives who complained about Kerry and Co. doing the same must be outraged!
Bush also mounted a defense of his record, saying that Kerry would erase gains made in the past four years in the economy and U.S. security. So using this W-ian logic, positive net job growth would return under Kerry. I just don't know if the country is ready for that.
This is so pot calling kettle black that it has become a new category of black on black crime. btw, 3000 posts.
LOL!!! So bush is going to grace the "common folk" now! Good for him! Regarding Bush's new campaign theme and "battleplan" http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/politics/administration/whbriefing/
Well the dems were smart by talking highlighting Obama's speech and his theme of one America. Other candidates talked about the President not having lived up to his 'uniter and not a divider' speech. In Bush's speech today he talked about how the dems believed in hollywood, being the heart and soul, while Bush believed that MO. was the heart and soul of America. I probably wouldn't have noticed the tactic, had democrats not highlighted Bush's divisive tactics. They are definitely trying to play that card.
