Your thought on the Texans biggest game in their four years of existance. This game could decide whether they become mediocre or a contender. I truely believe Bush can make a difference, that fast. It doesn't take much to turn a team in the NFL. One playmaker can be all they need. I'll be rooting for the 49ers!!!!
Bush Bowl: Jan. 1, 2006 in San Fransico Texans (-2) at 49ers Texans 0-7 on road Easy Money play on SF!! 49ers 13 Texans 10
no direspect, but you really think the Texans go from worst record in the league to legit contender because of ONE GUY?? I'm not against taking Bush. I'd sure listen to offers for their draft pick, though. But either way, I don't see the Texans becoming contenders next season.
Yes, yes I do. Contenders for the playoffs at least. With the drafting of Reggie Bush would come an offensive coordinator that would open up the Texans' boring offense...
Think of some of the close game the Texans lost. One play here or there and it's a whole different season. Bush, with his breakway speed, can make a TD on any given play from any place on the field. He demands attention from the defense that will open up the passing game like you have never seen. Playoffs next season???? New coaching staff....new attitude....new players....BUSH.....maybe!!!!!
Problem is there's a whole coaching staff that knows they are gone after this game. They'd like nothing better than to stick it to this franchise by winning this game and causing us to lose the #1 pick. This game will be interesting to watch.
All Bob McNair has to do is promiss Carr a contract extension if he throws the game on Sunday. That's the best leverage he has to throw the game.
No matter what you think of Reggie Bush, there's no downside to the Texans losing this game. It's not so much the value of Bush, but rather that of a #1 pick in a 2-deep draft(Bush, Leinert). Trade value for such a pick is extremely high, based on what San Diego has gotten by trading away the right to get Manning and Vick. If one player isn't the difference, then certainly an extra 1st and 3rd round pick could be a huge difference. I would be SERIOUSLY disappointed if the Texans choke up a win this weekend. Tanking in sports is hardly that uncommon. There's no reason why we shouldn't "play some young guys" this weekend.
Bush Bowl: Jan 1, 2006 Are you rooting for San Fran? Are you rooting for San Fran to win? Texans 0-7 on the road Texans lose = Bush I see it as we've gone to far to try to win 1 more game. The diff in winning or losing the games is to big to lose out on.
Who are the morons who voted that they want the Texans to win? What is your reasoning? Please explain.
