Three weeks ago, on a black Mercedes, in Rice Village, I saw a black and white bumpersticker that had George HW Bush's picture on the left side and George W. Bush's picture on the right side. In between the pictures, in bold block letters, was the sentence....

I saw one on a minivan loaded with kids, back in 2000. It said, "Vote for BUSH and DICK and let the SCREWING begin!"

That seemed like a wonderful thing to expose children to. And really witty, too, like a Margaret Cho joke.

    My all time favorite

The last time somebody listened to a Bush, folks wandered in the desert for 40 years

Here's a short and sweet one.

And leaving your kids trillions of dollars worth of debt is any better.

I think political bumper stickers and signs (besides the ones that just say the candidates names) are obnoxious.

Much like political signatures on a basketball bbs...

I'm sort of in agreement. I've never put a bumpersticker on any car I've ever owned...political or not....because I think they make cars look cheaper. I have, however, put a couple of candidate's yard signs in my yard....especially for IceHouse when he was running for City Council.

i saw a guy the other day in a jaguar with a bush/cheney sticker. i would never pay the money necessary to own a car like that...but if i did, i would never...ever...never...put a freaking sticker on it.

We used to put bumper stickers on our cars (although we used to put them on the rear window... easier to get off), and yard signs in our yard, but no longer. Considering the position my wife has working for the Legislature, driving to work with a Kerry/Edwards sticker on the car, or having an influential Republican who might live in our heavily Republican neighborhood see about 6 yard signs for Democrats and connect them with my wife, could be career suicide.

That's how bad it's gotten in today's Texas state government. We didn't use to have to take those things in consideration, but my wife has seen senior state employees in certain agencies and the like get nudged out... because they are Democrats.

we live in a neighborhood that has deed restrictions prohibiting political signage in your yard. i think that's a good thing, all the way around. doesn't allow for a creation of the environment you're talking about.

Even funnier than the actual anti-W stickers is actually looking at the driver of the vehicle. Now that's a trip.

Not nearly as funny as looking at the drivers of cars with pro-W stickers on them. 50 drivers, 8 teeth, plus the lovely tobacco juice stains on the drivers side!:D

Kerry lied, while Good Men died.

    Bush: "Let's Roll"
    Kerry: "Let's Roll over"

    Not Fonda Kerry

Oh Max...."come home" to The Woodlands and you will see ALL manner of political stickers on Jags, BMW 7's, and of course the ubiquitous Suburban...

the one I saw, at the gun range no less, read like this:

GOD was in the BUSH with Moses...
Keep GOD in the whitehouse with BUSH!
